  1. Makes me hope that the M855 might become cheap surplus soon? I wish.
  2. Dosent seem to be drawing much intrest. Last bump, then part out time.
  3. Makes my Dakota seem like a real bargin
  4. Be a man, throw M-80s at people.
  5. Much easier to watch when your field of vision is at least partialy blocked by a cold beer.
  6. Battery charger without the addition of some good filter caps = bad idea. PC power suppy should be adequate, check the pinout for the supply in question, you should have no prolem putting a switch in to ground the power sense (typicaly green, pin 14 or 16) and as a bonus you get a health +5V rail to run all the LEDs you could ever want if you wish to wire up some color as well.
  7. Iron or Alum? Also, do you know if it is gen III or IV, and what it was out of? Thanks
  8. We bought an LG 55LH40 55" LCD before I deployed, HH Greg price matched best buy, and threw in the extended waranty for free. Runs flawlesly, plenty bright for our living room even with the sun coming in the patio door. As far as the audio end, parts express has plenty of parts and plans for making excelent speakers on your own, just hae to get a reciver with enough inputs to do what you want it to.
  9. Oopsie. Searched before I posted, didnt see that thread. Oh well, fuggit.
  10. Depending on the age of the body, bleeding may not occour. Also, if they drain the body right after death (much like bleeding out at a slaughterhouse), then there would not be much blood leakage either. Interesting concept, I would still rather be burried with my AR, a 1911 and a keg.

  12. Better listing, free bump. http://her.realliving.com/Property/Details.aspx?PropID=14580491

  17. As people get dumber, they are more easily entertained. If this video is proof of our curent entertainment level as a society, I belive we are very fucked.

  20. I have upgraded to a 2000 Dakota quad cab, so the old Dakota needs a new home. Purchased in March 2007 right here on CR, it has been a faithful truck, just albeit ugly (the wife refuses to ride in it) 1989 Dodge Dakota 4x4, 3.9 V6 (non magnum) standard cab, 5 speed A-535 manual transmission, 6.5’ bed, bench seat, cruise, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power steering, drivers vent, sliding rear window, 4" lift kit, aluminum tool box, 231 transfer case. The good: It runs. 4x4 works. 90% 31x10.5 tires (maybe 5000 miles on them) 4" suspension lift. Clutch is still good. Front brakes are good. Bed is good (surface rust and scratches to be expected) Trailer hitch with 4 pin plug. Cruise works. Windows work. All glass is good. Silverstar headlamps have about 1 month of use. Started first time (after being jumped, needs battery) new halfshafts up front. Old cores are yours as well. The lift kit: 4" TrailMaster Suspension Lift from a 91-96 Dakota Kit (http://www.trailmastersuspension.com/instructions/DD43.pdf ) with new shocks. Very few mods to the original kit, but some minor parts swaps to make it fit. Poly bushings in the front. Brake calipers are from a 91-96 Dakota. Tie rod ends are non stock (Moog ES2222L) I believe the rims have a 3.5” offset to clear the lift bracket on the knuckle. Good alignment after kit was installed. The bad: passenger head gasket is leaking coolant (annoying, but tolerable, been that way for several thousand miles) Transmission whines like a banshee. Has been whining forever, needs some new bearings in the front end of the tranny, or 500ish for a rebuilt one on Evilbay. Cragar rims are rusting, just surface rust. When it is hot out, it likes to vapor lock, most likely the fuel pump showing its age. Exhaust system is shot from the muffler back. Drivers rocker panel is rusted out, passenger is not far behind (I have the patch panels, will include with truck) One of the parking light lenses has fallen off, it is in the truck (epoxy would work fine for reattachment) Drivers valve cover gasket leaks. Rear passenger brake leaks, will include new drum, pads, and cylinder. Parking brake needs some love. I believe I have the parts for it, will include. A/C usually works, it holds a charge, and was working regularly when I parked it, but had given me an attitude from time to time. It worked well on tuesday. Battery did not survive storage, needed jumped. AIR pump is disconected. Other parts: 8.25” limited slip rear carrier. I also have a ford 9” and dana 44 out of a 72 F150 that where intended to go into this truck, but ran out of time. These are seperate, will sell with truck for some extra $, or sell seperate if no intrest in truck, and I part it out. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d117/lustalbert/Cars/P9300023.jpg Further Dakota reading: http://www.allpar.com/trucks/dakota-1987.html I will get pics of said truck up when I am back from deployment, probably the 28th or 29th of June. I would like to get a new or slightly used ZR-1 in trade , but would consider $1500 (that was the cost of the lift kit, you get the tires and rest of the truck for free) If no intrest in a few weeks, ill start parting it out, leme know if you want any paticular parts. Post up in here, or PM me, ill try to check it regularly.
