  3. they do that often from what ive red mostly seems on the dyno. get a ati and never worrie again and while ur at it pin the crank. i think too in one of the 12 mags i subscribe too they were dynoing a ls1 or 3 and same thing broke at about 5500-6000
  4. if u wana go fast cheap id sell my 89 camaro roller wouldent take much to get 850 hp with a 76mm on it. alreay have spohn tq arm and panhard bar. interior is out awaiting cage. shouldent be hard to make a mid to low 9 sec street car out of it. body is prety straight too. i got the 2001 now and dont really need it. and ill help with the build. see what i just did there! i know where to get the 6l heads for 150 bucks, the manis for 200. so all u need is a k member or hookers adapter mounts and a ls1 + computer. wich is easy to find. i also have a th400 wich will work with a adapter bell housing. and adaptor flexplate.

  7. i just think after blowing the trans in my 2g about 15 times needing about 10 cases and 15 diffs i could have build one ls1 camaro or firebird. yea their rears are week. but still hold fine for what hes looking for. also the cost to mod a camaro vs a import of any make is a crazy one. if u want a 750 hp eclipse vs camaro would be like 35,000 vs 3500. not that crazy a diff but its a big one. plus like my truck states, its amazing having owned a import vs me owning domestics and how much i spent on each to go fast. id never ever build another import unless it was for sipping cheap pump fuel. period. and its more amazing the faster you go on your own the less people seem to think you know what ur talking about. hmmm. oh well stay slow my friends. das suckies.

  10. kick that guy in the face. 1g dsm he wants a car not a crankwalk victom. to hell with the imports on the list. build domestic. ur a domestic guy. and the ls1 is a unlimited bolt on platform. so what if a stock block 4g63 holds 400 . a set of headers and ur ls1 will be over that. a simple turbo kit and ur killing almost all 1gs on the road. and for way less money. yes the car is more but you can afford it if i can.

  20. i already have a modded s10 modded blazer, a lifted yukon and a tahoe, i dont wana get stupid with it. i proably will down the road, i dont have any plans to race it. but i want it to sound like a v8 and the lil bit of extra power is ok. ive got two books on the ls motors now and a book comming called 1993-2002 Camaro and Firebird Performance Handbook gona read that as well. also got a haynes service manual. come springs i wana put all synthetic fluids. what fluid do u guys use for the t56?
  21. ull like the 76 ive seen motors into the 1000hp range. but 900 would be a good reliable goal. and keep the heat down with it. my buddie just got a mp 76 for his camaro too. should be a great yr for cr with the turbo cars.
