I believe Home Depot has them in the bulk hardware section, in one of the drawers where you can buy them by the each. Old hardware stores might be your best bet there, dunno if there are any left in Dublin though.

I've heard of people being popped for both. Put it this way. It's winter, it gets dark early, the vehicle is dark colored, so why make the BRAKE LIGHTS less visible? Illegal anyway, and for good reason.

Don't turn your AC or heat on and off. It takes MORE energy to re-heat or re-cool all that air than to simply maintain the temperature.

Another issure would be the availability of fire/rescue and police. You don't want to be far away from a firestation, there's been enough cars destroyed because the track extinguishers can't handle a fuel blaze. Or better yet, have a used/surplus pumper and some of the track staff get trained as volunteer firefighters. EMS is harder, but really if someone crashes, you simply don't move them until the real deal arrives. Basic life-saving skills training would be a good idea for everyone anyway, I've seen the concession people at Trails react with total confusion in a situation where a simple Heimlich was necessary. Police are important too, that'll help keep the retards out. There's a few officers on here, I'm sure they wouldn't mind trading some off-duty uniform time for some free passes!

It has to have been reported at least 24 hours previously, and the city has to know EXACTLY where it is, IE "where X street and Y avenue meet" isn't good enough, they want to know which corner it is. Overpasses or bridges also won't be paid out on, otherwise the city would be out MILLIONS for the 270/Main street interchange alone.... Bear in mind that somebody would have to search for any previous reports, then authorize the pay-out. Think about bereaucrats and their attitude towards the public.

Hmm, that was smart thinking there. You probably saved about 40-50 off the cost of the speeding ticket, they run about 130ish down there. You certainly saved a bunch of money on your car insurance (And the first person who snickers about that choice of words loses their e-cookie forever). Was it South Bloomfield area? The OHP is just all over down there, I don't even bother thinking about speeding through there anymore.

They aren't going to have much of anything from before 81, or after 2001. It's mostly 90s cars, and mostly GM and imports. Most of them are worn out junkers, or wrecked, or both. But if you need mid 90s Cavalier or Civic parts, it's the place to go.

And it's going to probably be pretty darn obscure. The plot as I recall involved a young couple purchasing a house in Japan, and discovering a ring hidden under the floorboards. In flashback style, the ring is revealed to have belonged to a woman who was killed by her jealous lover, who then killed himself, many years ago. Their spirits then take over the modern couple, and they repeat the tragedy again. I have no idea who was in it, and only saw it twice, and that was back in the 80s, so you can see why I say it's going to be obscure. I know that it had to be from before 1984, because that was when I saw it, on HBO. It was also sub-titled, at least in the flashback sequences. I'm pretty sure it was a big studio film, not a small release, because it was on good film stock. I don't recall much gore or blood, so it was probably a drama, not a horror movie. Anyone got any ideas what it may have been?

I believe it has something to do with it being the solar maximum this year. Lots of sunspot activity messes with the satellite signal, apparently. You have to line the front bumper up with the rear bumper of the car you are going to park behind. Then you pull forward until you line up the bumper with the middle of your car. Then you shift into reverse, using the brakes yourself as it backs up into the space, then you have to shift into forward and use the brakes yourself to center the car in the spot. The only thing you AREN'T doing is turning the steering wheel yourself. Seriously, what use is this? How often does the average person have to parralell park anyway? By the time you get everything lined up, the person behind you is either honking at you to stop blocking the road, or is close enough to block you from reversing into the spot, or has stolen the spot while you diddled around lining up your bumpers.

I was about to mention the Tempo with the SHO motor. I believe that the swap has to start with one of the few V6 Tempos though, something about the 4 cylinder makes it much more difficult to swap. Dunno about that myself, secondhand info there. Mr3GTP, do you have a webpage for your SC'd Tempo? The photos just link to imageshacks front page. That's a neat car, I hadn't heard that anyone had tried an SC yet, and not many turbos.

Didn't Honda have a diesel version of the Civic or Accord back in the early 80s? Seems like everyone else did.

Can't help with where, but I can help with WHERE NOT. Avoid Ace Metals on Groveport Rd like the plague. They got busted with a bunch of stolen cars a couple months back, something like 12 cars that the cops checked had been reported stolen. Then a few days later they got busted with 50 some GRAVE MARKERS that had been stolen from area cemetaries. Did the company steal them? NO, but they in essence paid others to do so. Receipt of stolen property is just as bad as theft.

I've caught one of mine turning on LIGHTS in the house! The bedside lamp is the "touch-on" kind, she figured it out and kept turning it on while I was at work. She also opens kitchen drawers, she'd made attempts at lifting the feeding lid on my fishtank, and I've got her fetching now too. We briefly raised a racoon when I was a kid, that thing had toilets figured out at a little over 4 months old, and a week later was working on doorknobs, but didn't have the paw strength to turn them all the way.
