  1. Yeah I can tell the G3 is a good phone, just not my cup o tea. What's the Droid Turbo gimmick? inductive charging? I've read some reviews of it that weren't too positive, mostly just talk about how huge the battery is and the wireless charging.
  2. I'm no expert, but this is a car that might be very good for auction. A classic car auction can definitely increase the value of the vehicle by allowing more eyes on it, and since they get a cut they have a vested interest in getting you as much money as possible for it. You may not get as much as you want, but it'll be a less arduous process and if it doesn't hit a number you want, you can have a reserve on it.
  3. So if a Ford Probe rearends the Tang, does the driver go to jail for rape?
  4. My contract is up in June but I'm already testing the market for phones. I currently have a Galaxy S4. Here's my completely personal like/dislike list so far: HTC One: meh Galaxy S5: Not enough of an upgrade from S4, want to wait til S6 arrives. Galaxy S6: Not enough info, but leading the pack from what I've read Note 4: If I had to buy a phone THIS INSTANT, I'd get this Note 4 Edge: LOL GIMMICK Nexus 6: Probably gonna be an awesome phone, but Moto lost my business forever with the Droid Bionic Moto X: See above LG G3: Fooled around at store and checked out a friend's, it seems like a good phone but something about the interface makes me feel like it's for 12 year olds. Also I hate the power button on the back. iPhone6: first iPhone I'd ever consider getting, but it's still behind the curve in terms of the features I want/like.
  5. http://www.lindsayhonda.com/cng-honda-civic-.aspx pretty sure it was 2012 only. I've met a few people with CNG conversions on their F-150.
  6. Brilliant marketing strategy: 1) Post a "how do i part out?" thread exposing problems up-front but without making them an issue 2) artificially generate interest in both parting out and buying car as is 3) sit back as fervor builds, market artificially inflates itself 4) sell car as is, wash hands of it entirely, and no misconstrued claims of condition. bravo
  7. Allow me to translate that for everyone: FANTASTIC NEWS EVERYBODY!!! We totally struck out on getting any major manufacturer with a reliable, well researched and tested engine to sell us their motors for a reasonable sum. Therefore, we have coordinated with a company you've never heard of to build an engine to a budget rather than a purposeful design using technology that was considered stale a decade a go. While we have no proof whatsoever that this engine will not be a dud from the get-go, there's also no proof that it WILL be a dud from the get-go, so there's that. Additionally, this engine will do things that cars such as the 2004 Chevrolet Aveo did 10 years ago, such as get to 60 mph in the time it takes to tie a necktie, and reach the ever-elusive 100mph mark, something that cars have only been doing for 110 years.
  8. There are as many useful applications for this system as there are sexy singles in ANONYMOUS PROXY waiting to meet you.
  9. USAA and NFCU both offer insane rates. As a dealership we usually can beat any rate, but they will do insane loans for people with shit credit, given the right circumstances. Generally speaking, yes a CU is going to be your best bet. However, IMO a blank check loan is not the best way to get a loan; the best way is to first find the vehicle you want, THEN apply for the loan. Vehicle-specific approvals are almost always more competitive than a blank check loan.
  10. We have DirecTV at work and every time there's a significant storm we lose signal.

  14. Sounds dreamy...ahem, I mean no, that's not who our server was.
  15. Is he a med-tall, average build bald guy? If so that was our server.
  16. I want a mid-engine RWD Hellcat Town & Country.
  17. The mental health system in this country is fucked.
  18. Truth. Buddy of mine got hooked. Started in HS with a slipped disc in his back. That resulted in a vicodin scrip. Played DE/OL at Butler, back got worse, scrip turned into percocet. Percs became hard to come by from the doc so he'd get oxycontin. Moved back here, got a local connection who ran out one day and said "but I can get you some H, it's way cheaper and its basically the same". Destroyed him for a while, but he kicked it and was able to recover his life.
  19. My favorites that others have said: Barcelona, G Michaels, Rigsby's, The Rossi The Pearl, right next to Lemongrass. Great small plates/appetizers, amazing seafoods (oysters, clams, shrimp) prepared a few different ways. I really love their raw oysters. They're fresh, they typically have at least 3 different types, though I've seen as many as 7. If seafood's not your thing, but you want to do upscale, Lindeys is amazing. Without a doubt the best service experience I've ever had in Columbus. The food is original, amazing, and well portioned (not too much not too little). The servers are professionals and know what it is to provide a fine dining experience without looking down their nose at you. Lastly, I'd suggest trying out The Table some time. It's another place my gf and I will go to order a smorgasbord of small plates and eat off each other's plates. http://www.thetablecolumbus.com/#!menus/c1jo3 Definitely not one of the better known places, but it should be.
  20. I really like my Spigen case on my Galaxy S4. http://www.spigen.com/brands/samsung/galaxy-note/galaxy-note-4.html Their entire line is pretty awesome, and the Neo Hybrid (what I have) is a rubber case with a swappable plastic bumper; I've dropped mine bad enough to break the bumper a couple times and each time I just buy a replacement and it's cheaper than a new case.
  21. I'll see if I have anything to spare; my gf and I moved in and both of us have N64s. She also brough an SNES to the relationship :megusta:
