Does this seem familiar to you? Are you thinking "Hmmm that Panduh guy sells a lot of Nixons I wonder if this is from one of his threads." You're right. I just bought another one from him so I've decided to sell this one. Never was a huge fan of rubber/silicone bands but this one was really nice. Just not my style. Worn maybe a dozen or two times since I got it from him a year and a half ago. Still in great shape, don't have the box anymore (moved and you know how little boxes disappear when that happens). Another user brought up a good point I'll address here: I'm selling for $250 because that's what I'd get if I traded it back to Cobb. However, if I get a V3 AP I'd prefer to get it from a tuner that provides custom tunes and can modify those tunes (at a much lower price than if I bought straight from Cobb) as I modify the car.

SALE PENDING Just what the title says, selling my AP V2. Love the thing, love the way it makes the car perform. I've just been using Cobb off-the-shelf maps, mainly the 93 Octane Stage 1 tune and it's been a lot of fun. Decided to sell this and put it towards a V3 and/or other mods. Currently still in my car and paired to it, but will uninstall as soon as it sells. Easy install/uninstall for warranty work. Doesn't come with the Cobb hard case, but comes with both cables, OBDII and Mini USB for PC connection to update firmware and get new maps. Also comes with the original box and manual, as well as a Proto mount. I currently have the Proto mount on my windshield so I'll have to razor blade it off, but that's nothing a new adhesive strip can't fix. Proto mount also has 2 other mounting options, including 2 screws to mount on the dash and a clip for the air vents, as well as the paperwork for that as well. Click here if you can't understand my description. New these cost $450. On the Focus forums they typically sell between $250-300, depending on accessories (mounts, cases, etc). I'd prefer to sell this locally and keep shipping a non issue, hence the price. Rundown: - Cobb AP V2 2013+ Focus ST, OTS maps. Excellent condition, no dead pixels or screen burn - All necessary cables included - Proto dash/window/vent mount $250 within reasonable distance to central Columbus. Shipping can be arranged, would prefer to deal locally. OH and I'll include a Cobb sticker. How else will everyone know how fast you can go? If you plan to drive it forever, buy it. If you want to upgrade in a few years, lease. I see no reason to buy if you don't plan to drive the wheels off it, EV/Hyb/Plug-in Hybrid values are really tough to guess due to gov't incentives and a shaky, fickle market that LOVES the nextest-bestest thing and forgets about the latest technology in a heartbeat. Ask anyone who bought a Nissan Leaf early on, in 2013 they dropped the MSRP by $6700. They did create a new trim level but the used market didn't care, values for 2012 and 2011 Leafs took a shit and a lot of people, even with the gov't tax credit, were in a huge depreciation hole. -

My buddy was going to start a similar service but realized before he got off the ground that it wouldn't be price competitive.

Best way to protect both buyers is to also have a bill of sale (or two) that states that you agreed to pay $X amount. That way if the state audits the seller and he slips up and claims there was a trade or a higher dollar amount exchanged, you have a signed document backing you up.

They can come after you for the balance of taxes. They have the right to collect tax based on an estimated "fair market value" of the vehicle regardless of what you state you paid.

Gf (and me now I guess) has a min pin/italian greyhound mix. he's an awesome dog but he's insanely smart and conniving so if he's not trained and exercised and given the chance to explore, he gets bored and angry. IMO too high maintenance for a kid.

Thanks for the watch, looks fantastic. To anyone considering, Nixon watches are BIG and very good looking for the price. Mike's a good guy too, easy to do business with. If you're thinking about it, just do it. 2nd Nixon I've got from him.

Has no one considered that the money used to pay for a light rail could, in the long run, be offset by fewer cars tearing up the roads, fewer uninsured drivers causing accidents that raise your insurance premiums, decrease the demand and thus the price for gas, create temporary jobs for construction and long-term jobs when companies find it easier to locate themselves in lower-cost out-of-central-Columbus real estate, thus creating more demand for properties outside of the central area and raising values in a greater area? Columbus is already seen by many corporations as a boom town with a highly intelligent and employable work force, a local economy that did much better through the recession than many others, and a center of culture and arts. A well-designed and efficient mass transit system (COTA is neither) would make it infinitely easier for these corporations to relocate and attract a new generation of intelligent, employed taxpayers to the area. Young workers buy cars at a much lower rate than previous generations, why not welcome that attitude with a solution rather than just refuse to change the fact that Columbus is a city that requires you to drive everywhere? Unlike San Francisco, unlike Chicago, unlike Boston, NYC, DC, or any other major metropolis, Columbus is unrestricted by geography. Why not use this unique resource as an opportunity that could cement Columbus as a major metropolis in the future?

Live there, get away from crime and drug infested neighborhoods, have the opportunity to earn a better life for themselves and their offspring. Maybe bring lower-cost labor. Hell, maybe their non-entitled kids will even show up at schools where teachers are paid a fair salary and actually TRY to learn and earn their way into a college education, instead of sitting back like Johnny and Sally Jones and simply expecting As and Bs and a legacy admission to Miami University. You know, just the American dream. But what would I, the son of a broke 15 year old Portuguese immigrant (when he arrived in 1974) who worked to be valedictorian of his high school, undergrad, and MBA classes and then went on to be CIO of Nationwide, know about providing opportunities to those less fortunate?

Believe it or not Polaris had a pretty bad problem with catalytic converter thefts a while back. When I was working for PSI at the mall security asked us to keep an eye out for vans full of people trolling the lots. They'd pull up to a larger SUV (easier to get under), scoot under with a sawzall and have that fucker out in minutes. We eventually caught those fuckers but it doesn't surprise me that more thefts happen; people just troll through the lots looking for target cars (dark tint, performance cars, etc) and hit as quickly and quietly as possible.
