  1. I heard about and talked to people about it yesterday, but spent the day just enjoying sports as he did. Today I'm watching all the videos; Eisen's words, Hannah Storm having to break the news live, everything. It's heart-wrenching. To say this man's family is HUGE is an understatement. Anyone who watched ESPN with any sort of regularity knows what a force he was. We invited him into our living rooms, he most definitely was part of all of our families. He was the Cronkite to our generation. As he said, cancer didn't win; he won in the way he lived his life, and more importantly in the way he inspired others to live their lives.
  2. Couldn't finish SoM, I enjoyed playing it but the pace kinda bored me as well as the overall brown-ness of everything. Awesome gameplay though. I'm also replaying Red Dead Redemption in anticipation of a sequel coming out. Forgot how awesome that game is.
  3. This. PS4 is a an amazing experience, I've been playing 100% on first-person mode and it's like an entirely different game. Everything is a little more difficult, I've turned all assists off and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself.
  4. With the kind of price they'll be charging I don't know why you wouldn't just step up a little in budget and get a Hellcat or RS4 or something along those lines. Hell of a lot more luxury/useability, I'm sure the EvoX will do some things better but not enough. If it comes in under $50k, it'll be a very good value though.
  5. Like the rear marker lights that are in the 645i location instead of the M6 location? Yeah that's not an ///M
  6. I've got no problem waiting for something good, as long as they consistently deliver what they promise. In all aspects of life, not just food.
  7. Katzingers is a Columbus institution. Ohio Deli is/was a Columbus institution and petri dish.
  8. Yeah, the fire probably killed all the flies.
  9. Tried the Dagwood challenge once. Quit after 8 minutes. Enjoyed eating all that food over the next 2 days.
  10. Good people can still be borderline retarded and a danger to themselves and those around him. You will be kicking yourself for not acting immediately when they are destitute and begging YOU for help. What would you (in her husbands shoes) want you (as yourself) to do? A marriage is built on mutual trust, love, and respect (afaik, I'm not married so what do I know). There is no trust to be had in that relationship. If the marriage is going to succeed AT ALL you need to show him they need to rebuilt because as far as he knows, he can and should trust her. If the marriage falls apart, it was going to anyways and they'd be a lot worse off financially. Say these 2 things out loud to yourself: "My bitch of an ex wife sent all our money to some fucker in Malaysia. I'm broke but now I still own half her debts." and "My bitch of an ex wife tried to send all our money to some fucker in Malaysia, but some nosy former coworker let me in on it. Cost me my marriage and $50k but at least I'm out." Those are the 2 worst case scenarios. Pick one, because you hold the power here.
  11. MSRP on a Launch Edition is $71,895. Base price for regular edition will be around $55-56k, loaded examples will be right around the same as the Launch version. No idea on the impending Spyder version (not to be confused with the eventual Alfa Romeo Spider) And there's been no announcement but I'm 99.999% sure there'll be a Quadrifoglio Verde version sometime :megusta:
  12. No test drives yet. Summer only tires, and they're a 1-of-500 launch edition, too much potential to damage a limited edition version. interior is mostly exposed carbon fiber tub. tough balancing act.
  13. Indeed, I work there. Its ridiculous. In every way. Ridiculously beautiful. Ridiculously quick. Ridiculously poorly suited for a 30 degree day. It's a hell of a machine.
  14. May or may not have driven one yesterday :gabe:
  15. Yeah, even those are too bleeding heart librul for my pot smoking tree hugging flower child Berkeley-dwelling relatives. Kidding, I just think it's silly to force an extra name on someone. That's why my father changed his name when he was naturalized. Antonio (given name) Manuel (father's name) Ramos (mother's maiden name) Pimentel (grandfather's name) Caxide (surname) became Antonio Manuel Caxide because fuck stupid long names.
  16. Hyphenated last name: check Oberlin: check plea for sensitivity for unrelated people on an unrelated issue: check LEVEL 5 HIPPIE ALERT MAN THE TORPEDOES AND BATTEN DOWN THE HATCHES
  17. Over 50mi of highway driving it's really not that hard to believe. I dig the new F-150 style. For some reason that interior really speaks to me. i like the consistency of the design, and especially the symmetric dash button layout.
  18. The JATCO ones are laughable. A quick reminder, whatever lease deals you see advertised, just assume with tax/fees it's going to be $30-40 more/month with all that rolled in. Example: Franklin county (7.5% tax) FIAT 500 Sport lease advertised at $189/mo comes to about $223/mo with tax/fees. And that's a car sold at invoice. Also, don't confuse money down with money due at signing. Due at signing is your 1st months payment + initial fees + taxes on rebates. That same FIAT lease requires about $300 D.A.S. including tax on rebates. Unless specifically advertised otherwise, you're almost always going to have at least 1st month's payment due at signing.
  19. If your first thought when seeing "Humvee for sale" is "I'd have to clean under the seats", you're probably not the target market anyways.
  20. Did you see the CNN documentary? I found that interesting because despite my hatred of CNN, Dr. Gupta had long been one of the harshest critics of medical use. It really is interesting to see a "convert" explore the medical pot business.
  21. Just start a charter school they'll give you one for free for "school safety"
