  2. They're eating their own! http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2007/04/04/bob_barr/
  3. I've also never heard of one rated for mor then a few hundred hp. I have heard that there is a static and immediate procedure for destroying the transmission. Try it on a test drive.
  4. I want in on the 15th....how do I register online? The clicky on the calendar page takes me to some one elses site. It says no on-site regs...booo. I also have no idea what class I would be in. My car is nuts. Where would this pile fit? 91 Cougar, V8 rwd IRS. Will have 17" wheels and victoracers. Not stock transmission, caged, harness, gutted to hell, almost no exhaust. For sale thread with all mods. Where should I sign up?
  5. I used a bunch of bullets and one spade (for th ebig 10ga wire). We'll see how it goes on friday. I still have sort out the wires in the engine bay.
  6. omg too much work. Individual connectors it is. lol I have no fuse guide for the car, and tracing more wires down't seem like fun. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?p=427071#post427071
  7. But it wont jive with the cable-clutch, will it? Looks like there'd be interference. I took the wiring bundle out of the car. It weighed ten pounds +, so it was nice to be rid of it. Tonight, I cut open the bundle and set after the wires I needed. To quote the understated Mythbusters; "Well THERE'S your problem!": http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/8408/prlmyh4.jpg so, I tracked down the wires I'd need using the following logic: -There were alot of connectors in the car that were plugged into nothing, yet the car ran fine. These wire could be cut. -The wires I need are the ones that disappear into the firewall. Their color should match the ones coming out of the processor. This turned out to be false. In the 10ft of wire bundle, there were many splices. -Despite those splices, after cutting away dead end connectors, I should be left with just those wires that went into the firewall, and off to the brake assembly. This one turned out to be right. There were many inputs and outputs. 4 wheel sensors, a speed sensor, and something else going in. These connectors were hooked to nothing when the car was in running order, so they were cut. The outputs are what caused my problems, since this system runs off the brakes. After much combing, cutting, capping and taping, here is what I have: http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/3060/donevp2.jpg It will be mounted under the dash up front, rather then under the rear dash. This will save me 7ft of wire (probably 100+ft combined). Now the hard part, picking through the engine wires to match them up with what I've got here. Good thing I've got slack. It's also free.
  8. Thanks for the laugh. Your dangly exhaust I can understand. But the bisected trashcan mounted on your hood? You know they *make* hoodscoops, right?
  9. ABS computer in the cougar. I need it to run my accumulator. No idea what it moves, the wire sizes are all over the place.
  10. I've got a bundle of 12 wires needing to join 12 other wires. Rather then make 12 separate connections, will AZ or anyone (other then Jegs) have a connector for this?

got a source on a motor? I know guys working on a 24hr of Lemons entry. A carbed 5.0 and a T5 would be great. What all do you have for this swap?
  13. Company match is about $25/wk, the rest is my kamakze portfolio.
  14. I hate Nitto, from experience. Go with the BFGs.
  15. I don't really know yet. lol Possibly. There's also the possibility that we could be living further down 71 in the Natti. Elena has had a successful interview with a downtown joint. We'll see if they step up and stop offering chump change.
  16. Accept the USD will only be worth 1/2 what it is now....if we're lucky.
  17. It'll be more then a 45minute drive now. :\ Mason is no more snooty then Dublin. It's also an older area, older houses, so not as much overpriced worthless crap as must of Columbus. I've got some peeps in the area, so the transition won't be too rough. I don't want to move, that's the plain truth....BUT I didn't want to move from Elida to Columbus, either. Now I'd never go back.
  18. Are you young and decades away from retirement? Don't want $X taken out of your check? Don't think the match is that big of a deal? Don't feel like thumbing through investment plans to find the best one for you? Here's some maths to move your brain: 1.5 years $50'ish a week Has gotten me over $12,000 [/larn'yoo]
  19. Hell, JP talks shit from much further away then that!
  20. So what you're saying is; If the buckeys had scored more points during the game, they wold have won it? BRILLIANT! Would you guys like to coach?
  21. If he would have turned to run... and gotten hit by a bus, I would give this a ten.
  22. If I was looking out for #1, I'd sell all my possessions ans blow this fuckin joint. I got mountains to climb in Nepal. I'm looking out for #2 and 3, my boy and woman. I know the area fairly well, I wouldn't be considering it otherwise. I know some people down there, and feel that we could be comfortable. I'm going to miss CR, the OSU Mountaineers club, and Grandparents willing to babysit.
  23. Some may know, the new owner of my company (of 5 years) are closing it, and offering me shit wages to follow my job to Bryan ohio Fuck them I've had two successful interviews with Tekmar in Mason, they talkin like $10k more then what my pathetic current employer thinks I'm worth. Motherfuckers, I hate being in this position.
