  1. "Your pasion" is some one elses accomplishments, nothing to be proud of. About the Bucks, you are correct. They probably do feel bad, but it doesn't make it right. About the fans, FUCK no, and you're proving it. All those great seasons, and they have a shitty game and you all fucking turn on them. You're not a Fan, you're an asshole. A fan would take it in stride, you bitch and moan, complaining about what was advertised and what you were owed. "Best fans" my ass. There's a difference between being a fan and a pathetic crying child. A fan cheers when times are good and laments when times are bad. A Fan feels "betrayed" when a player gambles against himself, or a team throws a game. A fan DOES NOT feel "betrayed" because their team loses to a better team. The people still whining about this are either being melodramatic, or have put far too much emotional stock into a ballgame. I'm a fan of many things, I'm also an adult who realizes what things realy mean. Some one elses accomplishments are theirs, not yours. If you cry about it, you do need help. God help your kids if they ever have a bad game; "I can't beleive you let ME down like that, you betrayed me!"
  2. True, but are you going to be putting reactors in cars? Are you proposing we drive fully electric cars, and plug them into the Nuke-powered grid every night? The former is just not going to happen, and the latter will not be practical for some time. Am'uricans need more then 250 miles (3~ hours highway) per 5 hour charge. It's not marketable. What we need is something to replace fossil fuels, and Hydrogen von water is a viable means. We use nuclear power to generat the electricity that produces the hydrogen. That goes into storage units, and is distributed to gas stations. Work on the safety aspect of hauling around that much explosive gas, and you have a means of powering vehicles over long distances, at low cost, and with lower environmental impact. Plus, since its combustion, you still get an exhaust note.

  4. LOL@Adult Swim Why? They don't owe you anything. They didn't lose your game or your title, they lost theirs. If you honestly think you're attatched to that because you bought a T-Shirt, seek professional help.
  5. I imagine it's REAL important to listen to the guy in the red shirt. A launch like that could snap a neck.
  6. Our Low Sulfur diesel is just lower then our old diesel. You can get better else where. Bullocks, I botched my numbers while posting from memory. 450hp S8, 480lb ft A8 TDI mit 320bhp. No less impressive.
  7. I once made about 4 cubic inches of Hydrogen from 1 cup of salinated water... It took about 1/2 hour and sucked dry four D batteries. I'm reading one of his "reports", it says he rocks an additional "heavy duty" alternator and two "heavy duty" batteries. It's used as an auxiliary fuel supply, burned with gasoline, not in place of it. Essentially doubled MPG from 24 to 49.
  8. It's is only recently that the US has even considered supplying the quality of fuel needed to run those cars. In Brittain, you can have a 450hp V10 audi 8 that gets 40+mpg....but our sufur content is too high for it. Bring on the British "jungle juice".
  9. +1 for Farscape, E2, and Seaquest. Though admittedly, all of them went a bit "off" in their last season. The writers were used up, needed new ones.
  10. Luck and stupidity, the Ying and Yang of just about every survival story.
  11. If it were me, I'd want to be loaded into the back of a van and driven around. Probably out of the question. Might sound odd, but give her work to do. Its tax season, get her some books and tell her to "save us money". The human mind needs challenges.
  12. People need to see the Bible for what it is, it's a book of fucking stories, nothing more. It's not a historical document, thoush some stories are inspired by actual events. It's not an instruction book. Many of the stories aren't true, but they dont have to be, they exist to make a point, that's it. The point of Jesus untangling nets and walking on water wasn't; "OMG Jesus is bad ass powerfull, look at him go!", the point is, he liked helping people and he want you do to the same. The guys who wrote the passages in the Bible that deal with homos were not the orionators of the stories. The bible wasn't written down until a few centuries after Jesus' death. Back to the point: it's a bunch of stories ment to convery a message. So the guy that made up the story of Sodom and Gamora, and whoever said that homo blood was vile acid, obviously had a problem with homos. Is it because God and Jesus hate fags? No, it's not. It's because in a society full of people who couldn;t read, homosexual practices were bad for religous buisness. The only way they kept power was through the people, they only way they kept the people was through generations. No one passed out fliers to the iliterate. Family is the most important part of keeping a religon going, and homosexuality was(is) a threat to that. They dont have kids, they don't pass on, they don't breed and increase the christian population. Look at the Quakers, they didn't breed, how long did they last? God didn't hate fags, the story tellers hated fags (and all trivial, lustful, and non-committed folk), and they hated them because they didn't work in the scheme of things religous. They need guys penises in womens vur'jhinas, and they needed them raising the kid. Fo' Real. I wasn't aware that an omnipotent super being wasn't capable of cappin a few coriographers. According to the old testiment, God also demands: -charity for the poor -the death penalty for evangelists of other faiths (Baptists aint hebrew) -debt cancelation -animal sacrifice -allow new husbands, new home owners, farmers, and cowards to leave the army Where are the Republicans on that shit? If you're going hardline one thing, you aught to hardline it all.
  13. When desert camping, I was told to always prepare for freezing weather during summer night. In fact, I have actually found early morning ice in Arizona...in june. LA is a different story, if its 33 there then it is a cold snap, the ocean and paved'ness of it usually regulate the temps better. Still, I'm jealous, this weather here sucks.
  14. Jesse, I'd be very disappointed if you didn't expect that. Cold does matter for moisture, you should thank the weather.
  15. Nick; Coooouuugaaarrrrr, nudge, wink. I would like to rally this stang.
  16. Hey man, just set it on the ground and lay some glass over the valve covers, BAM it's a coffee table. For many years, I had a top fuel rear tire that served as a table, and then as an alternative to a bean-bag chair. It was awsome.
  17. Your kidding? I thought they *had* to produce an AWD focus due to WRC homologation rules? The Escorts got it, I though it went without saying that the Focus would also....hence the lack of really reading into it. That engine with only FWD makes me long for the predictability and balance of a Clio 24v.
  18. In Europe, you can get that engine and awd in a Focus. Back in the states, Ford wonders why they loose market share here.
  19. For good, long lasting, warm as hell gloves, be ready to spend $40-60. Marmot makes great stuff in that range, and can be had off the shelf at Outdoor Source in Upper Arlington. I always go with a removable fleece liner, since my hands sweat and it's easier to dry. For mid layer stuff, fleece is great. Ive gotten my fleece shirts at kohls and such, because fleece is fleece. No cotton, just a poly blend. I couldn't find fleece pant anywhere, so I got a pair of Patagonia long leg fleece pants. Those and a shell have kept my legs warm to -10deg and 60mph wind. You can probably find a fleece shirt for under $40, but pants seem to be more expensive. you wont regret the purchase. Base layer stuff comes in varying weights, and it's primary function is to get sweat up and away from your skin. "Cotton is death" comes from the fact that it absorbs moisture and holds it next to your skin, this can cause trench foot or hypothermia, etc, its just bad. Base layer stuff is for activity, when your sweating. I absorbs stuff as fast as it dries, i.e. it dispenses with your sweat without letting out much warmth. If you're not going to be active, stick with fleece, don't sweat the baselayer stuff...HA PUN!.
  20. I've owned 2 Carhart coats and a full "suit", all things are relative. You can definitely do better without sacrificing durability. My hardshell jacket has been crumpled up, stuffed, dragged, pelted, drug over rocks, hit by junks of ice, and just outright abused for 4 years (once used it for an aid while climbing, the sleeves took my weight without issue), you'd never know it to look at it. In terms of durability, my Carhart did fine. But it was no where near as warm as other stuff I've owned. On top of that, Carharts are heavy. A Patagonia Down Sweater looks goofy as hell, but it weighs about an ounce (literally), and fits under any jacket, and retains wicked amounts of heat. You can beat a regular Carharts BTU loss with a rain coat and a thick fleece shirt. A down sweater and a wind breaker will keep you warm throughout the entire Ohio winter.
  21. Everyone who bitches about being cold needs to stop buying clothes at their Old Navy, Meijer, TSC, or wherever the hell you're getting them. I don't like "being" cold wither, it's just not a problems because I don't wear Carhart or trendy shit. Mountain Hardwear down coats are on sale like mad at Dicks, go git'cha sum. You might be asking yourself; "What's this asshat know about warm clothes?" Here are the current condtions for where I'm spending my weekend: http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/conditions.php http://img378.imageshack.us/img378/627/wdrnd5.png Did you know that you can buy underclothes that can be completely hidden, yet retain as much warmth as your average coat/snowpants? I could rock a suit in this weather and stay warm. The best part about these garments being hidden: no one has to know that you're a pussy.
  22. Isn't this better then 40deg, cloudy and raining, bitches!?
  23. coin operated pony ride 1 gallon real mayonnaise 8 condoms and a disposable camera I've got cash in hand, all or none, no questions.
  24. 99.7 is all that's left? Fucking pathetic.
  25. So this is the part were everyone who loved OSU turns on them, and says how embarrassed they are to be OSU fans? Ya know, how everyone ran their mouths before, and now bitches about the teams and refs, as if they have any right to bitch any anyone. I don't think I saw anyone here on the field, did I? The players played to the best of their abilities, that's all you can ask for, take it and like it, or find another team. FL was just better, by allot apparently. Is he lying? Godamn right it was classy. Can you imagine what OSU fans would be saying if the scores were reversed? You couldn't publish 70% of it. Don't think for a second that the players wouldn't be cocky and running their mouths about 20pts.
