  2. Classic. Of course they want it long. They don't care. I had long hair, when I was 16. They're too young to have free range over they're looks, so it is entirely up to you. Honestly though, you should have nipped it in the butt months ago. It's going to be painful now.
  3. me want. I'll be wanting his number when I get a house. Does he do pure breeds?
  4. It's not a handgun if you need a shoulder stock.

    354 hrs

Just going ove my tax crap, turns out I worked 354 hours overtime in 2006. Think they ever let me have an hour off? If I ever punched in 1 min, late, I was docked 15 mins pay. People wonder why no one likes corperate America.

  11. *jealous I'm waiting for Hayden Falls to freeze. I wish I'd been here for this. 7:15am, -29f, wind chill -78f. May have been a new record for me.
  12. I just noticed a 2.8L Quattro in the lot, also. Hopefully it wasn't tinkered with.
  13. Im guessing alot of the same info applies to the VW 1.8t? There's a Jetta wagon there that may get some attention also.
  14. Old news. Looks like the cheerleadin' kid from Dodgeball.
  15. There's a difference between an accident and a mistake.
  16. Egads. I'll still be asking about it. I'm more curious then anything now.
  17. Me neither, but I'm finding it unsubstantiated. Where are all the Jag-bashing poor reviews at? And yes, the Audi is likely beat. Yes, which was before 1997. I've been digging up all the reviews I can find on these cars, and I haven't been able to find a single gripe about them. Even the common and mass produced XJ6 seems to be getting good reveiws. If anyone can link me to some TSBs or a host of complaints about the car, it would be greatly appriciated. I just cant find them.
  18. True, but with all due respect to the shop, I don't know of any small buisness private entity that actually flog-tests their mules. Reliability studies are too costly. I'd bet 99% of kits out there have just been tested for funtionality. The concern with this car: how many times did they get that wrong and what did it do. P.S. You guys need drivers? I'll do it cheap, $45k a year, send me wherever.
  19. Added wear is a concern with any bewsted car. The only reason I'm considerin it is, unlike 3 years ago, I can keep it under 4000rpm 99% of the time and be happy. Wear is a funtion of stress over time, If I keep the time down, that should curb the wear, yes? Also, I could take it back up to them and kick it down to 250bhp or so. As Jesse mentioned elsewhere, "development" is a worry. Is that part of their name, or do you think this was a guinea pig car?
  20. Looking for a daily, found a 1997 1.8t Quattro. What is the usual cost of ownership on these? I've come to distrust newer Audi's based on a few stories, but how are they overall? Also, catch: This particular one has an upgrade, a GT28 RS installed and tuned by "ECS/APR development". Does anyone know of this mod or this shop? I'm looking for a car that I don't have to fK with all the time.
  21. I'm not "worried" about it, I just keep a strict budget. Making allowances here and there is a slippery slope, plus this gives me the oportunity to be a hardass in negotiations. I've come up with a plan B: Quid Pro Quo. Basically, you buy my car at an agreed price, and I buy yours at an agreed price. Instead of giving me trade-in value toward cost, they give me trade-in value as a check, which pays off the old loan. Then, I lock in the adjusted purchas price at 6.4%. I like the Jag, but I'll have it checked out by a professional first. They've also got an Audi A4 1.8t worth looking at, but I'm more worried about its reliability then the Jags.
  22. Ya know, I've got nude pics somewhere of a girl that lied and cheated on me...but I also said i wouldn't let them out. Still got my dignity, unlike her. I should probably get rid of them.
