For those of you that don't understand what's going on, I went almost the same speed making 50 less HP. When I first put my ski in the water this spring with the X charger I was only running 73 MPH and there are hundreds of people with an X charger not running what I did with a stock charger, stock intercooler and stock ECU. It's a big deal people I've only done 75.9 with the X Charger. Like I said I know where all my missing MPH is now. I can't wait!!!

First time Shanton had the boat out I thought forsure it was going to flip.

I went 74.3 http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif on my ski today at 7960 RPM with the stock charger. I pulled my X charger and 42s out and put the stock parts back on the ski. Took it out and went 74 with out issue. That is until the front of my pump shoe broke off again. http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif So much for my JB water weld ghetto fix. After the pump shoe broke the ski would not turn more than 7820 RPM and struggled to reach 70. I now know where all my missing MPH was with the X charger. I think the ski would have hit 75 today if the water was better.....nothing but white caps. With a new pump shoe I think the ski will very close to 80 with the new charger.

If the boat is 20' I would expect the boat and trailer to be atleast 5' longer. Keep in mind it's not just the trailer tongue you have to account for but, the outdrive and prop will stick out another 3' or so. With a 20' boat I would plan on having ~26' open.

Look for the Beam when looking at boats, that will give you a good idea of the width. The trailer and boat are typically less than 8'6'' in width.

No, I found an X charger with a Riva Drop in wheel. It will make 12.5 pounds of boost at 8100. This is what Riva sold Prior to the XX charger they have on the market now.

If it doesn't pick up a full MPH with the new Charger and prop repitch I will be more than dissappointed. 20% more air and 2 more pounds of boost here I come.

I have a friend that lives on the lake and he has asked me to come up for years and I havn't made the trip. Sam and I talk about it all the time. There are bars on the lake and I've been told it's more than twice the size of Alumn but how much of the lake is usable.
