I'm pretty sure the C6 was penned before the next NSX concept was shown. But I wouldn't put it past the General to steal other companies ideas.

The Mercedes SL had gullwing doors so that the driver's head could clear when climbing over the wide side sills. I agree, lambo doors are basically rice, except on cars that came with them, and it's too expensive.

I think VMS RX7 was talking about the concept for the next NSX. It's called something like NSX HSC (I think it stands for high-sport car). The C6 does look very similar, especial in the rear-end. I think the C6 is a beautiful car. I wonder if it will be faster than the Z06, what with the new LS2 making 400 HP.

I've ordered some new springs and struts plus a camber adjustment kit for my car and don't feel comfortable putting them on myself. I live near where 33 meets with 70, just south of Bexley. Does anyone know of a good shop in my area that can do this for me at a reasonable price?

I saw a 'making of' on the History channel for that video. It was pretty cool, they described all the new Pontiac vehicles for the new year. Did anyone see "The Last Ride?" It was on USA network I think. All I know is after they painted the GTO red and added the new parts, it looked pretty badass.

I think the guy meant "50-70." If you look he says it while the speedo is on 50. It's where you put the car in its top gear and go from 50 to 70 mph. They do it in C and D all the time. I guess I was a little off. But, for an extra $36,000 I'd want an upgrade that added power, not just a cool look.

I thought the episode of "Pimp My Ride" with the CRX was really pathetic. It looked horrible, first of all. Then they said they were gonna take out the old engine and put in a new, rebuilt one. All they did was take out the old and clean it off, change the clutch, change spark plub wires, air filter, oil, and then paint the intake the make it look new. I don't think they even replaced the stock exhaust. It looked like they just stuck a cheap AutoZone tip on it.

When I saw the title of this post thread I thought you meant the 50th anniversary edition that came with special paint, champagne colored wheels, and the special electromagnetic shocks. But I have seen the car you're talking about. I thought there was just one made, but since you mentioned that it had a number plaque, then there must be more! smile.gif They're probably really expensive and the few that were made are probably owned by rich people with the right connections at GM.

I've never used it personally, even though I do have it. I did have a friend who's car broke down in a parking lot and he called me to come pick him up so he could get back to his apartment to find his card and the number. After he called the tow truck got there really quick and the service was pretty good. I'm glad I have it even though I haven't used it yet, and hopefully never will have to.
