Some leagues are better than others. We do rec ball here for soccer with my daughter and generally it's a good league. I won't do traveling teams. The most important reason is we take a lot of family trips and those come first, I also won't pay that much for a kid to play sports, and I'm not driving all over the state for kids sports. When my daughter gets older if it's something she wants to do we'll consider it but honestly I don't think she'll care one way or the other. As long as she's playing she's happy. She's actually pretty good and I don't mind her being the big fish in a small pond. I'm always very easy on the coaches. I actually never say anything to them pertaining to how they coach. I tell my daughter after games what she did well and what she needs to work on then we practice it in the back yard. It's 100% about my daughter for me but I realize there are 10 other girls no the team so I never make it about my daughter at the field. I wish more parents did that. I hate sitting next to a "screamer". They scream instructions to their kid the whole game. Just let the kid play and the coach will handle the instructions.

I coached my boy's baseball team 1 year......1. I absolutely hated it and it was hard for me to hide my hatred. Worst decision I made in a long time. The parents were terrible. Even the onion eaters were all stars in the parents minds. Since I was the "new" coach I got the worst of the worst. Didn't win a single game and had 10 year olds that didn't know where 1st base was. Every now and then I get tempted to help out with my daughter's soccer team and I remember back to baseball and keep my mouth shut.

Pacesetter headers, x pipe, and spintech catback with 4" double walled tips. I have more pics on my phone that I can text someone if interested. Headers have some rust but overall in decent shape. $600 http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/20150907_123737_zpsgm5cnb2p.jpg pictures of headers http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/20150907_123707_zpshoiaazkf.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/20150907_123704_zpsfvo88yba.jpg The 0rion paper is there because that's my nick on several other forums.

I'm normally pretty careful with how I throw around "kids these days" because I have kids. There is some truth though that *most* kids now are raised completely different than they once were. I don't come down on kids too much because kids now face completely different problems than I faced.....their world is a lot tougher than mine was as far as getting through it alive and not completely bat shit crazy. These kids raising this stink though needed more ass whippings when they were younger.....few of them need some now.

much nicer and faster than my 79 was.....I had a 79 with the 301. Thing was so slow it had dead bugs on the back windshield. I got outran by a chrystler cordoba
-
unlike some of us most kids these days have no skills at confronting and solving problems. When a problem is presented to them they look for someone to solve it. That's basically what this is. They have no way of dealing with something or someone who is in direct conflict with their beliefs so they go over the top on drama to draw attention to themselves and hope someone else will step in and solve the problem. This kinda thing will probably really piss my kids off because I force them to solve their own problems and find ways of solving conflict with each other. I only step in when there's blood and by then the conflict is usually solved.

let me ask my neighbor if someone else doesn't come up with a place......he knows a place. I'd like to see a pic of the fourtrax....that brings back memories.
-
I looked through those pics....some nice touches there like leaving the stock muffler sticking out the back haha. I also notice how far back that engine sits....it makes those rear mount turbos not so much rear mount anymore
-
damn.....that actually got me for just a second. I saw the car....saw the price and said wtf....then saw the rear tires and decided to read the description. That'd be a bad ass car to have.

the other side of the coin is the availability of parts and ease of working on the yard tractors....that's why I wasn't that dead set against an MTD mower when I bought mine. I've worked on mowers in the past and they're pretty simple to work on and parts are normally pretty cheap.
-
I stand corrected then.....guess it's just the way it came across on the news which can go either way. I don't know the guy and don't pretend too....just the feeling I got watching him on the news. I'll take your word for it though that he's a stand up guy and I was wrong.
-
isn't he the one that the news stations interviewed several times after? If so.....he's the one. I saw news clips during the re-opening of him laughing and hugging people. Next news cast I saw he was moving back to where ever it was he was from due to stress and had walked away from the business to let his wife run it. Now this. There's something not right with that guy. What man dumps all of that into their wife's lap?

I knew about the Genisis/Exodus thing....I just added Exodus this week but so far really haven't had much luck with it. I've only been on there once since adding it and looked for a couple new movies and no stream available. That's just part of it though so I realize that. I really want to see that 10 cloverfield lane but agree that the early version right now will probably be pretty bad. Better off to wait a while. My next is to find something where I can download movies to my phone to watch later. A buddy was telling me it can be done but I forget what he said to do. During the fall when I go hunting there's maybe once or twice a year where I'm down there by myself and I'll usually just hang in the camper at night and watch a movie or 2. It'd be nice to just plug the phone into the tv and watch movies that way versus taking my kids kindle down.
-
Shitty thing that happened to him but I've had a bad vibe about this guy from day 1. Something about him just doesn't seem right.
-
have you had any luck finding a 10 Cloverfield Lane stream? I've checked a few times on Exodus but there's been no stream so far. Checked 1channel and genesis too.
-
thanks....my buddy just called me and was asking about this compressor for $180. I sent him this coupon. $30 is $30.
-
I have one and it works but can be pretty frustrating at times as far as streams being good and movie quality but overall worth the money. There's a newer one out there called sky stream that's supposed to be a lot better. It's more money but also has an option for a keyboard which would be cool to have when doing searches and what not. There are tons of tutorials and what not on youtube. I just bought a firestick from amazon and side loaded kodi on it myself then added andy's build to it which basically just organizes things for you. I did all of that by watching youtube....I didn't know anything about it going in. I would probably just buy one already loaded up from ebay if I had it to do again.

http://todaysmower.com/2014-lawn-yard-garden-tractor-manufacturers/ That'll show you who builds what. Craftsman is made by MTD so that's why they're not as popular as they once were. If it comes down to entry level MTD tractors just flip a coin....they will share many of the same parts. If you look at that link you posted vs the deere above it the first couple things that jump out at me are the plastic speed selector on the craftsman, no anti-scalp wheels on deck, and steel front axle vs cast iron on deere. I don't like the CVT on the deere and it has no cruise control which could get old although mowing less than an acre it wouldn't be a big deal probably.
-
I would have to look them all up to be certain which are which but you really only have about 3 choices. Husqvarna, some john deere, and MTD. MTD builds most of the riders out there. I never have been a huge fan of MTD but usually end up owning one. I got 14 years out of my last yard machine which probably isn't terrible since it was an $800 mower brand new. I currently have a Troy Bilt Super Bronco which is also MTD built. Just liked the mower so I bought it. Don't regret it.......so far.

mods? Have you logged idle trims?
-
for a while.....maybe. I wouldn't put a dime in the stock 10 bolt.
-
no projects really.....just jamming with the boy in the garage here and there.

I've went through this for awhile now. We started with a power wheels quad which we're on our 3rd kid with now. Then I went to a 110cc china quad that both of the older kids rode and it's in the shed still waiting on the 3rd kid to get old enough for it. We also have a razor dirt bike and now the older kids are riding a polaris 500 scrambler and my 12 year old has a kawasaki 100 dirtbike. My advice is to buy for the bigger kid and let the other grow into it. I just saw a 2 person kart for sale up the road last week. Not sure if it's still there but if it is I'll stop and get the info off of it for you. If you did something like that the 6 yo could drive the 3 year old around for a while before they start fighting over who gets to drive haha.

very cool truck and very cool history behind it. I would talk to as many people that's still around who remember the truck and write it all down. Down the road the story that accompanies the truck will be just as important or more important than the truck itself if it's kept in the family which I don't see at this point how it couldn't be. As you age this kinda stuff means more and more to you. Growing up as a kid I heard my entire life about my dad's '61 dodge dart pheonix that was a special order with a 413 cross ram. What I wouldn't give to have that car and a copy of the stories to go with it. He had a ton of stories about that car. Races won, races lost, and running from the cops. Cool stuff. There are only 2 people alive (his brothers) now that remember that car. We talk about it every time I see them.

I've always used them on the Ohio down by Greenup dam and have had a ton of luck on them. I would imagine buckeye is pretty screwed up now in general with the water being at winter pool. I didn't get out there once last year to fish. Heard people were catching fish out of it but not sure what kind or what numbers. I'm guessing channel cats in the 1-2 pound range by the bucket loads which is pretty par for the course at buckeye. Me and my bro have gotten into stripers out there a few times and crappie up by the marsh but again...with the water low not sure how it would be out there.
