  1. dang...been looking for a garage stereo for awhile. 2nd's if the original person changes their mind.
  2. at least the lions aren't being held in captivity any longer......they're actually probably better off. I'm also sure those lions had a lot of questions answered for them that day too......for years they sit and think " I wonder what these fuckers taste like?" Question answered.
  3. 2 year old bday party. No kids and no playing? Hmmmm....are there any coffee houses close to you? Maybe a nursing home or something like that?
  4. I offer rides to people all the time and even offer candy if they'll get in the van.....so far I'm 0-167 on getting them to accept a ride. Don't know what the problem is....I always wear latex gloves when making the offer in case they're germophobes and I always have a clown's mask on because clowns make people laugh. It's weird.
  5. cool stuff.....and a smart kid for putting it together.
  6. as with most appliances none of it is hard......these bearings though are just a pain in the ass to get too. Few more screws and this POS is completely apart. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/washer_zpspj1dwxhq.jpg another little thing that pisses me off every time I tear that thing down.....notice the back left corner doesn't have a shock? Just put the damn 4th shock in there....why skimp on 1 shock? Instead they move that other shock to the middle.
  7. I fix all of our stuff on a fairly regular basis. We bought the house 12 years ago and got all new appliances about that time except for washer/drier. Dishwasher I've replaced just about every part on it over the years including the whole front control panel which wasn't that expensive on ours....think it was $90ish or so. Our washing machine (maytag front loader) is a massive pile of shit. It's 5 years old and I've had to do the bearings in it twice. The design is the issue....all the force is on those bearings in the rear of the tub. I just did the bearings a couple weeks ago and they'll last about 2.5 years. I found the bearings on ebay for $13 which is cheap but it's the mountain of work you have to do in order to get to the bearings. Our next washing machine is going to be a speed queen. Pricey but last forever.
  8. I agree with everyone else....you're taking a ton of risk and it's all your risk and none to him. I would set up an escrow at least.
  9. wish I could keep my kids room that organized....at any given point in time it looks like their toy box puked all over the room. Nice looking beds. We just disassembled ours and they use them as regular twins now.
  10. he said in his first post he doesn't really drink so that explains pretty much everything that's wrong in this thread. Seasoned vets don't make this mistake....it's always the rookies that suffer or in this case the rookie's wife. Just buy her a mask to wear when she goes anywhere in the car.
  11. maybe it's just the fact I'm seriously lacking any good entertainment these days but this whole thread cracks me up you: "Hey honey......come out and smell the pukey car." wife: " Wow.....I can't believe how less of a puke smell I'm getting. Great job!"
  12. seems like the napa on east main used to but it's been many years since I've been up that way. Maybe give them a call.
  13. I wish I had a $1 for every time I've said that
  14. the best kind of drinking lesson.....the one you're still learning a week later. Probably by the time you throw all this stuff at it trying to get rid of it the smell will just go away on it's own. Just air it out and keep some freshener in there. The wife will eventually get tired of bitching about it. Granted....the smell will be long gone before the bitching is but eventually it'll all be gone. The day she says the car's better you should tell her you're in the mood for some whiskey and cokes.

    NFL Draft

My Saints ended up with a couple buckeyes.....Bell and Thomas. I hoped they could somehow swing Braxton Miller too but no way it could happen. I think Miller is going to be a star on the right team....not sure Houston is that team. I just like him....wish we would've got him.
  16. fwiw....I saw a c3 on a used lot here in Lancaster. Looks like it had $7k on the window. Couldn't really tell much driving by but if you're at all interested I'll stop and take some pics of it for you. Only things I could really tell was that it's brown and has side pipes.

    vacations?

little far off for a day trip but if I'm ever up that way again (was at Cook's forest a few years ago) I would love to go check out Kinzua Bridge. It's about 1.5 hours from erie so like I say....kinda long for a day trip. Would be worth seeing though. I've seen pics from it and they're awesome.
  18. miss my yellow 04....nice looking car.
  19. I like Kasich and would vote for him.....don't think that's going to be an option though. I would never vote for Trump or Hillary so if those are my options I'll be taking a pass on this one.
  20. have you looked here yet? http://www.automotivetouchup.com/touch-up-paint/lincoln/1978/all-models/

    vacations?

that's along the lines of what I was going to suggest. Camping if you're into that....if not a cabin near some water. Kids will find things to do and have fun no matter where you take them. Avoid anything with large groups of people and long lines and you'll be fine. We have a 3 year old and he's been camping with us since he was 6 months old. He's actually easier to entertain than the older kids. Give him some water balloons and/or a sand bucket and he can burn a couple hours doing that.
  22. you mean the same civilian that earlier was pointing a rifle out of a hotel window? The same civilian that had been doing shots earlier? The same civilian that was warned multiple times that if he moved wrong again he was going to get shot? Lets not forget to put some of the blame where it belongs....on the drunken idiot that was pointing a rifle out a window. You can't do that in this day an age and not expect a dozen jumpy cops on your doorstep. Had that guy of killed 10 people the cops would've caught shit for not doing their job. They can't win and the media and anti-gun people love to come down on cops which have some of the toughest jobs in this country.
  23. very educational....now I know it's not a good idea to point any type of rifle out a hotel window. He learned that lesson too.....I learned it much easier. Also...who brings a dead sparrow back to their hotel room? This story seems complete and legit.
  24. I've always liked the lightning.....looked at one in the mid 2000's and liked it....had a pretty nice interior if I recall correctly. Truck doesn't work for me though because I tow a 5er and have a family. If I was in the market for something like that though it'd be tough for me to pass up the dodge srt-10 which is in the same price range but if I did it would be for a lightning.
