already have one....this old one is just sitting here doing nothing. I just used this old one to tune with and thought someone else could use it. I was wiping it out and the damn ac adapter died on it. No more than it's worth it doesn't make sense to dump money into it just to sell it unless I can get an adapter real cheap. No big deal...it'll go in the box with all the other old worthless pc's I have.

When I open a thread it'll load 3-4 times. I upgraded to IE 8 beta last week. I'm wondering if it has something to do with that?? Ideas...thoughts...suggestions. Get rid of IE is an option I guess and see if it does it with firefox but I've used IE forever and just look at it as the demon I know.

My uncle had a good one at wal-mart a few years ago. He's in his late 50's and bought a cd at wal-mart. He gets in that line that takes forever. there are definitely better ways but I've used that to diagnose charging issues (usually just to determine a bad battery or alternator) for 20 years and it's worked for me. A load test would be preferred but this has always worked for me.

on the other side of the coin are the add on cruise controls from J C Whitney or somewhere like that. I bought my dad one for his truck a few years back and we put it on. Very easy and fairly cheap. The drawback is not having it integrated into your steering wheel. His had a little 2"x2"x.5" control that we mounted to his dash. Overall it worked perfect for him.

there's a thumbwheel down near the bottom of the column that you can turn to line everything back up and there's also 2 torx screws down there that have been known to come loose.

did you figure this out then? Have you put a voltmeter across the battery with the engine running to see what your alternator is putting out? Should be ~14.4volts at idle.

I'm assuming you tapped your racetronix kit into the back of the alternator right? That could explain your fuel pressure loss. You could check all the wiring like someone above said but I personally would start by checking that alternator.

sucks, been there and done that. Had some white trash bitch run her mirror down my gto a month after I bought it. No insurance. I have full coverage so I figured I'd file a claim and let my insurance company handle it. Found out it doesn't quite work that way. They called her and tried to get her to pay but of course she was too busy fine tuning her meth lab and didn't pay. Then the insurance company sends me a letter saying they will continue to go after her but it'll cost me more money to do it.
