I have both....all 3 if you count ls1edit. We can get together sometime if you like and you can look at both side by side. It's all personal opinion as to what people like. I like hptuners better especially for gen 4 stuff. On the e40 pcm's the tranny and engine are treated like 2 separate tunes although you're only charged for 1 cars credits. I find the navigator in efilive sucks IMO compared to hptuners. Hptuners histograms are much better and easier to set up. That's all just my opinion though. Both will do about the same things.

not taking it as harsh. I've pretty much already thought of all that....just wasn't sure if a junk yard would be a viable option. I'd also thought about trying to part it out for the axles, ring gear, and backing plates. I don't want to really sell it as a complete unit to someone because I'm not 100% on the posi and don't want to sell it to someone if I'm not sure it's good. Not to mention the hassle of shipping it would never justify the cash I would get for it.

I have my old 10 bolt out of the firebird sitting in the shed. I thought about keeping it just in case but it's just taking up room at this point. I swapped it out because the posi was becoming suspect ( did a couple of 1 tire fires) and the pinion seal is leaking on it, imagine that. Any idea what a junk yard would give me for it and is it worth even messing with? Still has the brake backing plates on it and everything. It's a 3 channel rear so it doesn't have the reluctors on the axles.

get a bow and take up bowhunting. Much more challenging and you get 3 months to hunt deer instead of 10 days. Also, get a muzzle loader and shoot that a while. They're a blast to shoot.

I did the razor blade thing 18 years ago when I first moved up here. I lived down by parsons and my shit got stole on a regular basis. I epoxied some blades to the back of a power booster ( yes, they used to be cool ) after 2 or 3 had been stolen. I go out to head to work one day and see my window busted and think "ahhh shit". Get up to the car and there's blood all over the place in the car. I wiped the seat out and laughed my ass off all the way to work.

I can cut you a sweet ass deal on some perimeter bolt heads and an ls1 intake. That's about the only parts I have left.

yep, you should replace it. It's cheap anyhow. I used an arp bolt. Just let me know about that install tool and you can borrow it. It takes all the risk out of putting that pulley on. I used a powerbond pulley on mine and heated it in the oven. It went on without a hitch. I would imagine it would've went on smooth without heating but I wanted it to go on as easy as possible. I have a 3 jaw puller you can borrow if you need it also.

I heated mine and used a piece of thread stock and pushed it on with nuts and washers. I've read to many times where someone screws up those threads to want to risk it.

I actually have one already cut and made up with nuts and washers here. When I did mine I bought a 4 ft length of all thread. You guys are more than welcome to borrow this one.

yep, I did do the hose mod to the rear springs so I'm a quarter inch lower at least

I run the UMI 2 points. Never had clearance issues but I'm at stock height and have no plans to lower it.

I was thinking about paying the $10 but that shit is super addicting. I'd be playing that all the time. The break dancing one was hilarious though.
