  1. Top. Do not paint that bumper. Also, do not touch any pole that Paul provides you.
  2. Ready for cheap Hellcats after the October, 2017 economic crash in 3...2...1........
  3. Very curious what final auction prices are as well. Man, those things were driven hard and put away wet...
  4. LOL that thing sounds crazy. I love it. I love that it's got that uncorked Italian V8 rip, with the downward popping as the revs fall of the LS. So distinctive. Congratulations, Matt! I hope to hear and see it in person at Dyno Tune...
  5. Someone should really put those two shopping carts back in Home Depot...
  6. That looks like a classic Miller-CL-troll job, but sadly there are actually people that text like that in the world. Someone tagged me on "Ohio Cars Under $1,000" and most of the time it makes you want to cry, with the turrible grammerz n such.
  7. I guess it's more the wheels...I get stance/hellafrush when you're dealing with factory fenders but WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE SO POKEY-CAMBER'Y???? That last pic of the Nissan looks great - because when you widebody the car you can still go wide with the tires without rubbing all the fucking time.
  8. +1. I stayed at Troon in Scottsdale a couple of years ago for a few days and while the resort was nice, the terrain was amazing. I can't even imagine Sedona and GC, where the vistas are another 10x more impressive. I love the water and will take my hot temps in FL, but AZ/UT/CO have some amazing places that need to be visited. Thanks for the pics and story. Glad you had such a great time! Looked like a lot of fun.
  9. Rocket Bunny kits look really good on low-slung, curvier cars. There was a BRZ/FRS at Cars and Coffee with a kit and it looked awesome. However, when I look up BMW E36 Rocket Bunny kits, I throw up a little bit in my mouth. http://www.greddy.com/products/aerodynamics/rocketbunny/filter:model:E36/
  10. I'll be coming back into town from a campout but will bring my son out as he's loving dyno viceos on YouTube these days. I still need to get my CTS-V tuned...
  11. Hey, guys - I've added an Eventbrite link to purchase tickets. $10+fees. Please invite friends, family, coworkers! http://columbuscarsandcoffee.net/crash-and-burn-showing-42717
  12. Hey, Shaun...sent you a text. I apologize...we had borrowed a friends tiny-tank setup but he needs it back for a job. Would be happy to pick those up anytime from you.
  13. Pipe organs in the most ornate churches have nothing on these headers. Are you going to do a "reveal party"? Have it on a lift so people can see the beauty of those pipes, then at a scheduled time fire up the car to treat guests with a cacophony of LS-derived exhaust notes plumbed through titanium tubes expertly and intricately formed from a master craftsman with talent blessed upon him from the gods?
  14. Saw your intro threads...love this project. You're really going into this full-speed ahead!
  15. +1. Just want to make sure I fulfill my side of the deal and not miss the window.
  16. http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2017/04/gm-works-10-weeks-downtime-2017-factory-retooling/ A lot more conversations in the market about the softening of U.S. new-car sales. I'm not being a downer, just observing a market that's had YoY growth for the last 8 years and a LEI (leading economic indicator) for the health of the U.S. economy. 97 days of inventory - where on average a new car that makes its way to a GM dealer lot takes 97 days to sell - is scary stuff. Something to keep an eye/ear on.
  17. I was JUST thinking of something similar...it seems to me that Chryslers - from RAM's to daily-driver Challengers and Chargers - are all rusting pretty badly for what seem to be relatively young ages. I've see. 201x Ram's with rust-through over their wheel wells. If it's not The car is themselves that are cheap, it's their owners that beat them the crap from the day they were new.
  18. So....quasi-success? After paying $60 for application, I received an "approved with addenda" letter and the opportunity to pay another $176 for 3 different types of building-related reviews. I can start building, but I need to satisfy two additional requirements: 1) my plans didn't outline how the supports wouldn't be anchored into the driveway with concrete footers (they would be). I indicated I would take pictures to send to the code person before setting concrete. 2) the roof has to drain via 4" gutters to an existing downspout, then into the storm system. Problem is where the carport is going to be from a grade standpoint, there wont be a downspout to tie into. I'm going to have to dig and lay aggregate for a drywell. I don't mind doing this, but why is this a requirement since I'm building the carport over an existing asphalt driveway? Isn't rain runoff already going wherever it's going? Is a 360sqft carport metal roof really adding to a runoff problem? The other funny response I got was "If I dig the drywell, fill it with aggregate and then cover it with topsoil as specified, how will you know there's a proper drywell underground since it will be covered?" The guy coudn't answer. Anyway...happy to be moving forward. Onto ordering carport next!
  19. Did the wheels clean up nicely? I've got some Sonax Full Effect, a Speedmaster wheel brush and a power washer to see how nicely we can get those to look...
  20. I forwarded your CL ad to a guy not on CR who's looking to swap out his dead Iron Duke on a Fiero 2M4.
  21. Welcome to the site! Any pics of the MINI Cooper? Was that Jetta GLX a VR6? They supercharged those?
  22. Remember that they trap dirt and sweat...you'll want to get those professionally cleaned. They've seen a lot of hooker saliva, ass juice, and nut drippings in their time.
