  1. I cannot access the site from my work computer. May hamper my ability to surf during the workday.
  2. You had me at 2-steppin' a Caravan. Welcome to the site!
  3. Saul good. I know Brian does too...just bustin' chops as they tend to get busted around here.
  4. Q5 for sure. BMW X1's have problems. Ask ANYONE who's owned one long-term.

Sorry to hear about your job loss...however, I will compliment you on a well-modded Camaro that's already a solid base (black/black, 6-speed). Hoping you get what you need out of it! Does the A/C and cruise control work?
  6. Cars and Coffee on Saturday mornings, and there are still Friday/Saturday hangouts (like QS&L Polaris) once the weather gets warmer. Welcome back!
  7. Loving the car! Not the biggest fan of the wheels but the width and offset are right. Well done.
  8. "IN A WORLD where Mother Nature used to love the planet... Mankind pisses her off...and COMING THIS SUMMER...she's going to PMS. THE FUCK. OUT." [/Don LaFontaine]
  9. Can't....get this jam...out of mah head....
  10. /thread Let the locals "paint" the cops before you even get to where they're sitting. They know the lay of the land far better than we can offer you info.
  11. Ooh!! Ex-USPS van on airbags (uses Chevy S-10 parts).
  12. On a side note, with a bajillion 930 911's made ('70s-1989), why is there no eBay LED taillight option? :gabe: http://o.aolcdn.com/dims-global/dims3/GLOB/legacy_thumbnail/350x197/quality/95/https://s.blogcdn.com/slideshows/images/slides/469/485/0/S4694850/slug/l/07-2017-ruf-ctr-geneva-1.jpg
  13. http://www.autoblog.com/2017/03/07/2017-ruf-ctr-geneva-yellowbird-porsche-911/?hcid=hp-tile-small-2 From my humble beginnings as a car guy playing Gran Turismo, I've loved the Yellowbird as a gorgeous piece of Porsche unobtanium. May I just say, with all sincerity, that this is by far the cleanest and sexiest 911-based cars I've ever seen.....and one of the best-looking cars ever. I glanced over the article - I know I couldn't afford it even if I wanted it. But from the Singer-inspired projector headlights to the LED tails, I love the look of this thing.
  14. Wow. What were the mods (if any) to the GT350?
  15. No, no...I'm just playing with a fantasy here. I've heard enough horror stories. I remember a few years back when a couple of guys (was one of them truckin here on the board?) drove "deuce-and-a-halfs" to CC&C. IIRC it was $40 in fuel and top speed of 55mph to cover a 40-mile roundtrip.
  16. I think it's definitely the quality/price of tires that matter as well...Derek @ BestOne always treats me well as I struggle for the cheapest cheapest cheapest deal for tires that aren't sh!t. I got cheap whitewalls for the LeBaron and my Lincoln Continental, and Derek was solid from sale through implementation to servicing. In Florida, I got new Kumho 600-treadwear tires from TireRack sent to a local installer who set us up well, and cheaply. Knowing the price for local installers right through TireRack's website is helpful. I also like the clearance sales, but even with inside help I find you have to jump on them before they get sold out very, very quickly. Now, my CTS-V and Odyssey need tires, and I'm more inclined to get better/name-brad tires. I find that TireRack is just such a slick site from a research standpoint.
  17. ^^LoL I was doing some research after seeing a 2008 RS4 Cabriolet for sale at Toy Barn. The newer Audi's do AWD performance soooo much better than 8 years ago it's not even funny.
  18. Boy, looking at those Ohio pieces (thanks for the link!) makes me depressed. That's a lot of rust. Really makes the case for getting something from the southern or western U.S.
  19. Anyone have a cheap but quality source for satin black wrap? Will need enough to do a couple of lower E36 M3-style rocker covers. I'm going to try to wrap them myself since the surface area isn't too much to cover...
  20. I remember reading somewhere that GovPlanet can help navigate the End-Use Certificate process, which is needed to title and tag one of these for street use? Regardless, it's not lost on me that a 6.5L diesel 4WD offroader with a 24V charging system and a winch is not a "must-have" for my hauling needs.
  21. http://www.govplanet.com/jsp/s/search.ips?sm=0&c=3468&md=M1038+Humvee&mode=8 Srsly...I would love to put a pintle-hook hitch on a HMMWV and rock it around town for DGAF errands. I know they are TURRIBLE street/highway cruisers, but the prospect of a $4-5k Hummer still entices me...
  22. I can tell you, there is a way more handsome, smarter, and sexier guy on this board who is probably a more challenging R/E deal for Marc to do than yours.
  23. Congratulations, Brad! $300 for movers??? That's really cheap!
