  1. Niece is back on T-giving break from IU...just tested positive. Feels fine but says she can't smell or taste anything. Whole family is isolating at home. Sister in Nashville can't come home for break for at least another 14 days.

    Crazy times.

  2. I bet If you swapped out Bidens name for Trumps in the article this shit would be everywhere.

Didn't hear anything about Biden releasing his taxes. Not even that he did release them and Trump still hasn't.

Trump still has over a week left to use the courts to his advantage: throw out contested election results or file against Electoral College reps from certifying. It won't be enough when even his own legal partners are losing or cutting bait.

  3. We all know Trump by now: he’s never going to concede. Never. He will just quietly leave the WH, and on Twitter just keep promoting pro-Trump commentary by his supporters like Hannity and others on his Twitter feed.

There will be morons that will be claiming Democrats stole the election from Trump 4 years from now, 10 years from now. They’re too mentally invested in his Narrative to step away from it.

What is truly scary is when Trump sets up a digital media empire to compete against FoxNews. They set up Fox Nation, a $6/month streaming service that has an 85% pull-through conversion of free trial-to-paid-subscribers. Trump knows this. He’s already soliciting money to get some of his most ardent press supporters onto a platform like this, where he can reach everyone with a smartphone and keep much of the profits without paying cable news/media channels.

  4. looking at it more... there going electric. that will get a luke warm reception at best with the aircooled vw crowd. hopefully its not looked at as a super bettle.

California (all lib-bashing aside) is probably 1)One of the largest markets for Meyers Manx, and 2)One of the first and strongest state car markets that's going electric.

I think it's a smart move TBH...will still make bodies and parts for Manx builders and owners I'm sure.

  5. The wheels aren't done. Orig style caps are on their way.

As I think I said earlier those tires are about $200 apiece. These tires came free from you. Lol

Dad didn't want to drop nearly a grand on tires right now for something that MIGHT see a few hundred miles a year. He has and is saving the 15" wheels if he ever wants to go that route but more than anything he wanted it on the road.

I'm sure the budget builder in you can appreciate that. ;)

  6. Having a Hurricane 232 in FL I can tell you.....you're better off joining a boat club in Lake Erie like JewToys suggested. My boat has been really reliable but the boat slip/lift has been expensive, interior gets banged up, some stuff breaks after a few years, maintenance to keep the Yamaha running right, etc...

I don't even know what's available around CLE, but after initial cost of entry, the monthly rate is very reasonable most places I've seen to get a clean, new, working boat everytime you want to use it.

  7. I was looking at getting a small 4x4 to tow behind my RV, and use as a runabout. Got a great price on a Geo Tracker (wifey and I both had Suzuki Samurai's in H.S. so I'm partial to this '90s era of Japanese 4x4s). While the topside was in great shape, even the seller had his own concerns over rust and I appreciate the pics he sent:

The price is too tempting for me to resist, and while I have a welder and cutting tools for metalwork, I just can't stomach doing this much rust repair. I'm going to have to pass on it, but curious what say you, CR?
