My wife had me chasing down her girlfriends around UA and downtown that were doing the full. At one point she got out to cheer them on while I waited. 30 minutes later I called her to wonder WTF she was doing, that her friends had to have passed her. She tells me to come to Grandview to pick her up. My goofy girl jumped in with her friends and ran 4+ miles in Uggs. Congrats to your wife, but dat-shi-cray. We're a half-marathon family...

Since you already hate CTD... :gabe: Was talking with a longtime CC&C guy who helps out Studio 47. Earlier this week, Craig @ S47 gets the call asking to transport the P1 from Canton to Columbus. Dunno why, and to be honest the specifics elude me at this point. However, everyone at Studio 47 empties their transport of 2 race Ferrari's and equipment, and they shuffle the shop around to accommodate everything and get in order to drive the transport to Canton. Takes them multiple people and well into the night. They call back to say they're leaving to go pick up the car. Nope, CTD already sent their transport and never called Studio 47 back. Cock move. I spoke to someone who did a tune at CTD because the tuner they've used for years moved over there. I can respect your loyalty to someone who treats you well and does right by your cars, but after thinking on it a minute, for me I just couldn't give a dime to that shop regardless of who was working there or what my car was.

No. There is a doctor in Canton that bought one (I believe through Joe Fondriest at Prestige Eurocars...had dinner with him and a bunch of guys last week). CTD delivered it from Canton to their facility for "tuning". BTW, I want to say that buying a MacLaren requires a down payment of $400k and financing of $4k a month? Not bashing on a P1 at all...but pretty much anything CTD does these days is megaphoned like the second coming of Christ, and all the fanbois kneel for communion.

So, how much is the Corvette? You don't have to tell the source, I'm just curious what the mileage and price is... What I can't justify is you just spent a good amount of work and money converting the Camaro to a 6-speed. What is the Corvette doing better than the Camaro? What is it going to accomplish over the winter, will it be a DD? Keep in mind that buying/financing a Vette now will be debt you have to service during a shitty season...

I just fully replaced the roof on one of my rental homes and garage, and am now dreading the need to do it on my primary residence in a few years. Looking at metal roofing: I know the upfront cost is a lot higher, but the roof will last for decades. I plan on being in this house for at least the next 15-20 years. House is in Upper Arlington. I was out in Amish country on Tuesday and I was shocked to see how many homes had newer metal roofs. I've been following a YouTube channel run by a guy in Pickerington of all places. It's done a great job reviewing "space weather" (solar flares, sunspots, and the effects of solar wind and radiation on our own planet using NASA resources and data), and I've learned a lot while remaining skeptical. I don't get worked up over things I cannot control, but the data seems pretty compelling regarding recent studies that the Earth's magnetosphere is weakening. I now believe that this is the single greatest contributor to global climate change over human/environmental factors.
