  1. Bubbling this back up...would welcome a winter project to give my daughter something to bounce around in next year. Let me know what you have, or what you're seeing.
  2. http://jalopnik.com/2015-ford-shelby-mustang-gt350-this-is-it-1659587138 Gooo...me rikey. Was going to suggest that the N/A V8 should keep the cost down, but magnetic suspension and 15.2" brakes will ratchet that sticker price right back up.
  3. New CTS-V is supposed to get a boosted V8, but I'm 99% sure it was going to be the 8sp-auto only...similar to the Charger Hellcat in powertrain arrangement. My love for my '07 CTS-V will likely be transferred to a 2nd-gen CTS-V or this ATS-V in a few years solely because of the availability of a stick. Current V6 CTS's start around $40k, I think the ATS-V will be in the $60k-70k range... What's the M3 or Audi S4 go for these days? There's your competitive price point.
  4. I've got a dinner, but I should be bringing Wes with me after 10pm... If I do make it out, I'd love to use the wash bay if it's available later...
  5. Drift High Five is always cool... For fook's sake...$2000?!?!???!?

  8. ...and only because it was a suggested vid ...at least that buttugly exhaust suitcase looks easy to replace with a decent aftermarket piece...
  9. http://www.autoblog.com/2014/11/14/cadillac-ats-vr-racecar-fia-gt3-official/ After seeing GM's resurgence in truly global motorsports with the C5R program several years ago, I appreciate the "halo effect" it's had on Corvette and Cadillac. Here's to hoping they get a few wins under their belt against Porsche and Ferrari...would make daddy proud. Is Ford racing the Mustang in GT3?
  10. I will say you can try to rock a bowtie if you're a beanpole-thin or tall/thin guy. Where's PP? Didn't he rock the Pharrell look last year sometime? Matching Ray-Bans?
  11. THE NEXT STOP IS W 4TH ST 4:19AM
  12. I've got a black dash and door inserts...everything else is light gray. #405horsepower #interiorbyRubbermaid
  13. +1. Lots of respect to Doc for opening the Hangout. Will be by this weekend if nothing else is going on. Thanks as always, Doc!
  14. +10. If you have a nice suit, wear that with a long-sleeve button-down shirt. Something with a fun color/pattern is fine. This way, you definitely won't be under-dressed, and you just need to hang up the coat and you're still the best-dressed slacks and shirt BIZ CASH guy there.
  15. It'll be another Consumer Reports compliment of Jordan for another car. :gabe:
  16. Well done, Wags!:thumbup: I do love that car, but the autoX photo shows how inset the front wheels need to be to clear the fenders when you drop and widen the rolling stock on these older cars. Oh well. I also can't help but see an older SBC Chevy mill and think of how old-fashioned they look now, even with a custom throttle body setup. We've been spoiled by everyone stuffing LSx engines into hot rods!
  17. Matt doesn't have a GTS... ...and he'd tell you the joys of coolant crossover pipes that like to break. I think the GTS's are awesome SUV's, but I'd be a little nervous finding a good example in the aftermarket. The 6-speeds are pretty rare.
  18. Drive through Franklinton every day...been to Rehab and Strongwater...great vibe in a really unique part of town. Definitely a lot going for it! If you ever have an open house for CR, would be happy to stop by and also grab some drinks at SW. Just can't be on a Monday.
  19. Oy. Do you know what it takes to $$$compete? Let alone the tow vehicle and trailer for the Qtr-Midget car...the racing suit, consumable parts, etc...was eye-watering to me for sure when I took my daughter for an open-house with a few laps under her belt at CMS...
  20. Agreed, new wheels will look awesome. Hope the car tracks straight-n-true once it's rolling again! FWIW, Our Passat got rear-ended by a drunk driver with barely 2k miles on the odo in 2000. Rebuilt, and still driving strong at 180k miles.
  21. Man...great to see Jordan helping out so many brotatoes! An intadesting choice, but the car definitely looks good!
