  1. http://www.arthritisautoshow.com Guys, I've been a judge for the last 4 years, and it's a really fun way to see the show, and help make it the great event that it is! We need a few more guys/gals that know cars and have the time to JUDGE from 11am to 5pm on Saturday. With over 800 cars registered, many hands make light work. I know Tom expressed interest...PM me if you'd like to join us! *Free T-Shirt! *Free lunch *All the sodas you can drink *Power-trip as a judge, reviewing peoples' cars *Get's you in the show and backstage for free!
  2. http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140423034814/roblox-apocalypse-rising/images/2/2a/Anchorman-well-that-escalated-quickly.jpg 1) Pull power washer out of garage 2) Hook up to outside water faucet 3) Unravel hose, fire up the unit 4) Aim business end of wand at vajayjay 5) PULL TRIGGER 6) Ensure sand is thoroughly washed out of said vajayjay
  3. Are you going to bother with rear fenders? IMO, that would affect what you do in the front... If anything, I'd do some trailer fenders in the rear and maybe the front, make sure they hug your tires. Fab/weld support bars that bolt to the axle in the rear to keep them on the tires. Let them rust. http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Fenders/CE-Smith/CE17701G.html?feed=npn&gclid=CL2aobmpt78CFYxzMgodXQQAnQ Then, I'd get a tractor nose w/ hood. Cut and reshape/reweld for it to mount against the entire width of the firewall. Don't worry about the framerails showing. I don't know what a "Cockshutt" is, but damn if that wouldn't be the best name running down the length of your hood. http://mansfield.craigslist.org/grd/4529326338.html
  4. ERMAHGERD FERD SCHERSHEN Those look serviceable: just repack them with grease and go jump some railroad crossings
  5. Over the 4th of July weekend, I picked up a 3hp Predator engine from Harbor Freight and re-powered a mini-bike my FiL got for free. My daughter and her cousins enjoyed playing around in it and I was very pleased with how well the HF engine ran for just over $75. Does anyone on CR have a cheap old go-kart that needs work? I'm looking to fix up a kart for my son and daughter to use as a step-up from the Barbie Powerwheels Jeep we've had for the last 4 years (Thanks, Kevin!). I'd like to avoid CL as much as possible. I have access to a welder and would welcome the opportunity to use it. Thanks!
  6. Hi! I'm Clay. Tim's right...I <3 the rat rod. Welcome to the site! Any plans for a nose? Radiator's too shiny.
  7. [/i] I'll emphasize the UPside to black paint, as mentioned: if you're going to shine it for a car show, C&C, cruise, Sawmill, etc... it'll look better than nearly any other paint. Black is still a very popular color, and won't negatively affect resale value. Plus, if you have any paint chips or damage it'll be easier to match it. Considering I've got a high bid on a black car on eBay right now, I can say I had two black DD/fun cars and I'd be happy to jump back into DD'ing a black car again!
  8. Why not stuff the boxes in the cars and ship them out? It'll be cheaper than paying for two plane tickets+gas+time away+food/lodging
  9. <<<Arthritis Car Show judge here. Will be watching burnouts at Busch on Saturday night.

    Welcome to the site!
  11. I was JUST wondering today what Andrew was up to...apparently it was being featured on a car site! Very cool, mang. Congratulations for a great article. LOL at "it could use a respray". Oh, and all of those 964's at the bottom of the article look fucking sexy. Love the Euro rear bumper with the tiny, old-skool license lights... http://stancewords.stanceworks.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/DSC2322-SW.jpg
  12. Joshua, you're on the road to making the car look much better than stock. Ignore Tom; he doesn't really know anything about cars. Just to offer next steps (if it was my car)...great job on windows already tinted. If you're inclined, DO NOT swap out the head/taillight assemblies. Instead, look at getting Lamin-X. It'll mute the chrome in the headlights and tie the lenses in with your black trim, tinted windows. Plus, it'll save the lenses from becoming yellow from UV exposure, cracked from road debris. A great investment that improves styling IMO. http://www.lamin-x.com/Honda-Accord-Coupe-2003-to-2005-s/345.htm
  13. Drop it. Drop it. Drop it. Drop it. Drop it. Drop it. Wheels do look good.
  14. Will wait for the cold of winter, when this pops up on Netflix. BRB, watching "Star Trek Into Darkness" for the 30th time...
  15. Are you sure? http://www.autoblog.com/2014/07/01/2015-dodge-challenger-srt-hellcat-707-horsepower-official-video/ I may be reading that wrong: "All that power will run exclusively to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission that differs from other Challengers. The new gearbox, 8HP90 (rather than the 8HP70) is "upgraded to handle the extra power and torque," says Dan Reid, SRT's manager of product design and motorsports." The use of the word "exclusively"... either it's the only transmission offered in the Hellcat, or it's only offered in this car and no other car/truck for now...
  16. Guys, Wes has definitely come up with some great ideas to gently promote CC&C, but moreover he's putting in the WORK to make things happen. I just don't see a lot of that these days and I'm happy he's channeling it this way. More to come, but in the meantime please feel free to contact Wes or myself for a window sticker!
  17. Not knowing what sort of mechanical shape it's in...I'd say go ahead and tweak the intake and exhaust. Makes it a little more fun to hear the 5.0L breathe, and should be some slight performance/MPG improvements. Do it on the CHEAP: like, check the intarbutts for recommendations, flip the air cleaner lid, cut resonators and straight-pipe sort of Dollar-General mods... http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTQ4NDE4NTY5MV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwODQyMTkxNA@@._V1_SX640_SY720_.jpg
  18. http://www.autoblog.com/2014/06/30/hondajet-first-production-flight-official/ :gabe: Props to Honda for getting the Hondajet off the ground. Pun intended.
  19. Wags, I'm tellin' ya...you're building Pavement Mafia into a great brand. Excellent eye and great shots.
  20. It is amazing when you can get such amazing clarity across the entire picture...
  21. I'd take a Makzila over a godzirra any day*. Troof. *if I'm footing the bill. :gabe:
  22. www.columbuscarsandcoffee.net CRUISE from Easton - 9am Guys, if you haven't been to CC&C in awhile - or even this year:eek: - then you're really missing out on a great group. Please come out, bring a friend, and do the cruise if you can. Looking forward to a great weekend! See you at Cup O' Joe!
  23. Lotta state/local government programs to support the sheeple. :gabe:
