  1. Hate to say it, but for the first time in years I'm missing Hendo/Winterset gathering. (be out of town for business).
  2. I'd stick a fork in that puppy....IT'S DONE! Can't imagine what else you're entertaining doing to it. I was two rows over and way down from the IS-F and I heard a sexy V8 roar. Thought it was something LSx-powered. After I came over, I realized it was this. Looking forward to hearing it in person again!
  3. There was a 997.2 at CC&C yesterday. Amazing cars. Considering the cost to modify one of these - let alone the $130K+ sticker price - I'd say that could be a great 10-20year car for you, with a high resale value for years to come.
  4. I need to work on my BMW, but if I get it feexed I'll be out later.
  5. Great article about them in Automotive News: http://www.autonews.com/article/20130722/RETAIL04/307229961/carmax:-undisputed-used-car-champion FOOK ME, they're big. Anyone own stock in the company? (KMX)
  6. I've got a couple of rotten soffit corners where the old gutters leaked on my roof, and when I had the contractors crawling all over my house post-fire, none of them wanted to do the work unless they were paid to R&R gutters, or paint the house. Quotes were several hundred dollhairs on up. I've been looking into doing it myself, and painting the soffits/eaves as well...but I know it'll be a ton of work to do it myself, especially trying to preserve the gutters.
  7. I was worried when I saw the wheels. I thought the stockers were fine enough. No shit, with the blue lugs n all...the car melts my mind how good it looks. Part of my admiration is it's an IS-F. Even for a Farkas clan member...I don't know how you'll top that one.:thumbup:
  8. http://global3.memecdn.com/you-derp-say_o_167350.jpg Looks good. Sacrificial fender for the next wall encounter. I LIKE IT... Giving me some ideas for the hood of Cleetus...
  9. LOL. I just painted my kids' furniture black. LAME. Awesome work, Rocky! The real Snap-On dresser would've been $3000.
  10. Welp... I gave it 2 stars on Netflix, so if you guys really liked it you need to up-vote it. Be nihilist "Mad Max" fanboi, screw sloot, get fucked over, fantasize about extreme paths in life, cry on shoulder of friend, do weed on a park bench. OSCAR-BOUND I call it "12 Years A burnout NINJA"
  11. So, that's partially what I was thinking of in terms of major redesign: If you can get a sleeper-cab COE semi that still packs the engineering needed to haul, yet gets better aerodynamics and costs less to manufacture and operate, I'd think that's a win/win. I haven't done the math, but if that MAN COE is 60-70% of the $100-130k price for a Freightliner, and gets even comparable (if not lower) operating efficiencies, that seems like a no-brainer. Are truckers worried that all the dead hooker bodies and their stash of weed will fall out of the cab the first service they need to do in a COE? The wheels look sexy but silly for production tee-ruks. All you really need are some lightweight discs for aerodynamics anyway.
  12. I will say that someone needs to edumacate me, as I've wondered for a couple of decades now why there isn't a more revolutionary redesign in OTR trucking. Aside from the International LoneStar, I haven't seen anything that looks any more aerodynamic than they were in the 80s/90s. Should have active aero skirts front and sides to cut through wind better...
  13. Great tee-ruk. GLWS and good luck on the next project, Brent!
  14. Brian Franchi (s/n is "Franchi") has a 455hp Ecoboost F150...not sure if he upgraded the intercoolers...
  15. I will be going in blind....because that trailer doesn't really explain dick. 'Preesh the recommendation...will try to check it out.
  16. If anyone is intadested in going after CC&C this Saturday, post up! It's the best time to go. In and out in an hour or so, most of the games are open.
  17. I haven't spoken to Bill S. or Joe Sugar in a long time. Any ideas what's happening here? Website is down...never a good sign.

    Ingress

We were at CC&C at Cup O' Joe 2-3 weeks ago, and there was a whole mess of people that were showing up for Ingress. The dork was strong with them, but I appreciated their passion. There was apparently an energy source that this one green team was controlling, and people from other teams came in. Dude drove from Fort Wayne IN that morning - more than 3 hrs each way - just to work with his team. Must've been 50-60 people by mid morning. http://steeshes.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/paul-bearer-mustache1.jpg
  20. I know a 5-year old girl that's got ur back on this jerb... http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=693&pictureid=7446

    Intro

    Welcome to the site!
  22. I like the Fit, but it's dawg-slow with an automatic. Trust me, I know dawg-slow cars when I drive them. My vote would be for the nicest 1st gen Scion xB you can find. Those tiny cars are huge on the inside and Toyota-reliable.
  23. Doesn't the hatch vent thingy pop up as a spoiler at higher speeds? ^^^not the same vintage, but you get the idea...
