There's always more to the story...That said, it's disheartening to hear some of these events.
When I was a sophomore, a group of my friends and classmates planned a "water fight" day near the end of school. People brought little squirt guns and water balloons...my buddy and I brought a gym bag with two huge Super Soakers and filled up the 2-liter sized reservoirs. After lunch, about 60 of us went to our lockers, broke out guns and went to town inside and outside of the school. some of the halls were flooded from water fights. It lasted maybe 10 minutes but it was mayhem.
A bunch of us were labeled "the organizers" (rightfully so) and got Saturday detention. Needless to say, every water gun teachers/admin got was confiscated until the end of the school year a couple of weeks later. IT WAS WORTH IT.
These days? I'd still be in prison wearing an orange vest, labeled a "homeland terrorist"
