A few years back, I helped a friend get his 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger Special from Guernsey County to Reynoldsburg, ripped it apart, and worked on getting it back together. This was in a similar situation, with only a 2-3 weekends a month to work on it...sometimes in the bitter cold of winter. What I distinctly remember is how it took 45 minutes each way to drive from my house to where the garage was. Not a long distance, but even THAT got old after a few months! I can only imagine how you must feel having gotten the car so much closer to you now...good luck on the rest of the project!

I've been looking at mods for the BMW, and one of the mandatory things I need to figure out is audio interface: the factory BMW deck (cassette/CD changer not included) works well, and aside from the standby cassette-adaptor to plug into a headphone jack (like on an iPhone/iPod) I'd like to know if anyone recommends a FM-modulator, or similar piggyback device. I'm not replacing the factory BMW deck, nor do I want to mess with the wiring: I just want to listen to NPR and Pandora or a few downloaded songs from my iPhone. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

There's always more to the story...That said, it's disheartening to hear some of these events. When I was a sophomore, a group of my friends and classmates planned a "water fight" day near the end of school. People brought little squirt guns and water balloons...my buddy and I brought a gym bag with two huge Super Soakers and filled up the 2-liter sized reservoirs. After lunch, about 60 of us went to our lockers, broke out guns and went to town inside and outside of the school. some of the halls were flooded from water fights. It lasted maybe 10 minutes but it was mayhem. A bunch of us were labeled "the organizers" (rightfully so) and got Saturday detention. Needless to say, every water gun teachers/admin got was confiscated until the end of the school year a couple of weeks later. IT WAS WORTH IT. These days? I'd still be in prison wearing an orange vest, labeled a "homeland terrorist"

My friend is relatively new to Ohio and just got nabbed by OSHP doing 89 in (I'm assuming) a 65mph zone. Odd thing that he texted is that the trooper didn't know what the fine would be. I've checked OSHP's website and FAQ page, but nothing pops out readily indicating what the fine would be. Any knowledge what the speeding fine breakdown is for OSHP?

Hey, Max...I would definitely get a C5. Hands down, the easiest to make go fast or REALLY fast and the aftermarket support is ridonk. Don't even bother with the Z06: get a coupe so you can enjoy the targa top, and do some light performance bolt-ons. Sad to hear the Mr. Two is gone...your bish-a$$ leaving OH was painful enough.
