  3. BRILLIANT!!! That's what I want to do with my tee-ruk: Get a 3.5mm headphone to RCA cable at RadioShack, install an amp, wire some speakers, adjust the gain input and DUNZO. Glad to see someone else is doing the same thing.
  4. Looking great! The dash mount is for your phone or a GPS unit? Are you running a stereo?

  7. I was thinking more along the lines of http://www.e36v8.com :megusta:
  8. That's the way to look at it, Gerg! It's not the slowest BMW evar, it's... 1) A 4-seater Miata! 2) A RWD, convertible Civic! 3) A 30-mpg autoX weekend racer!
  9. That's a better way to look at it Doc. However, I definitely needed a better 10-year car than my Passat and I feel that I found it. It's in my friends' garage in Naples (pic background) and I'll be back down with the family in July to pick it back up and drive it home myself.
  10. After at least a couple of years since selling my Corvette, I've recently really been jonesing for a sporty car to cruise and play around in: my Passat is getting long in the tooth, and a new DD was in order sooner rather than later. PERHAPS YOU'VE NOTICED THIS, CR... After discussing with my wife over the last couple of weeks, I've been on the hunt...but given my goal of under $7500 it's been humbling to say the least. While down in Naples this past weekend, I thought I'd pay Auto Europa a visit (www.mercedesexpert.com) and talk to Ed...let him know what I was looking for: convertible, RWD, 4-seater, stick, under $7500, buy it sometime in the next few months. He suggests I look at his personal car, as he was looking to get rid of it. I see it, test drive it on the spot, LOVE IT, and ink a deal this morning. Gotta run some errands, just got back from FL. I'll just leave these here... http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=840&pictureid=7186 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=840&pictureid=7185 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=840&pictureid=7183 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=840&pictureid=7184 The good news... - Garage-kept since new. Interior is a 9.5/10. Leather has no scratches whatsoever. - Well-equipped, PW/PL/cruise/dual climate/AC/heated seats. Everything works. - Drives wonderfully - Just over 105k miles, and I picked it up for $5k - My dealer friend is the 2nd owner, picked it up around October, 2012 and did the following: CAI H&R springs, Koni shocks M3 body kit tint F/R lenses CSR wheels, Fuzion ZRi tires clutch So...it does look awesome, and it's modded recently with all the parts I'd do myself. Sean (Crossle) told me to test drive an E36, that it's a more "pure" drivers car than the E46 and he was absolutely right. This car fits me like a glove. The bad: It's a 318i Flame suit on EDIT: Just found out it has the factory LSD :masturboy::masturboy::masturboy: Posting info from BMWvin.com for posterity. If it's not in CR, I'll probably lose it. 11. FTFY Great family truckster. I'm definitely a fan!
  12. Not every deal is a home run...you gotta hit a few singles every now and then. I'm sure they view Subie tuning as a way to pay the lunch bill, while the "high-end" Lamborghini treatments pay the mortgage.
  13. I'll see you guys at HD Sawmill around 10pm.
  14. Guys, would June 1st or June 15th work well for anyone?
  15. My 1961 house is gutted from smoke remediation related to a fire, and we are doing some upgrades since the whole house is now open. The lower level has 9" floor tiles that I'm 99% sure are asbestos. We just got a quote to have someone come in to take out all the tile as well as some lineoleum sheet floor in a bathroom as well. Just under $1000. Looking for something cheaper... Can someone from CR wet it down and scrape up the flooring? No questions asked Please PM me if you're interested. Thank you!
  16. I really enjoy the last Star Trek, and I've heard mixed reviews so far on this one. However...I'm sure this will be the same visual joygasm, and I'll try to see it on the big screen at some point.
  17. Gotta plug my event! For any runners out there...please consider running in the Upper Arlington Civic Associations' 5-Mile Memorial Day Run, coming up on May 27th. This is my second year as director of the event, and it's a great, family-friendly race. http://www.thisweeknews.com/content/stories/upperarlington/news/2013/05/14/uaca-to-host-memorial-day-run-may-27.html Lots of great sponsors, and should be a fun hour on Monday morning! www.uaca.org www.premierraces.com/viewevent.asp?eventID=445‎
