  1. 1985 Mercedes 190E - less than 100kmi on a rust-free tank for under $3k!!! http://www.mercedesexpert.com/inventory/view/6711539?1985+Mercedes-Benz+190E+Naples+FL
  2. When I was returning them, the two old dudes at the desk at Jeg's used them and both returned them. One guy said he put almost 3k miles on his son's Mustang with E3s and it started running like shizz. Pulled them and both electrodes had eroded severely. FWIW, old dood #1 says that Jeg's would've given me a full refund, even if the plugs were used. "Uhhh, yeah...I bought this Procharger kit and used it a season. Decided I don't want to use it anymore. Thanks!"
  3. If you want to have a great steak dinner, then drink and smoke stogies, I highly recommend Cioppino's. http://www.cioppinoofpittsburgh.com/ just have a taxi take you there. Cheerleader's and other places like dat are not far off either; walking distance from Cioppino's. Where are you staying? I've usually stayed at the Westin or William Penn...there is a Doubletree and Marriott over by Consol...

  6. 1) Since I had the same Motorcraft plugs for Cleetus from BREAK-IN over a year ago:eek:, thought it was about time for a change! 2) Bought E3 spark plugs at Jeg's, $6 a plug for 6 of them. 3) Instantly regret purchase decision. Decide not to install them. 4) Drop them off next day, go get new Motorcrafts again for $1.59 a plug. 5) Realize I've got a MSD 6A box and Blaster 2 coil...decide to gap the plugs an extra tenth. 6) CLEETUS HAS NEVER RUN SMOOTHER. @ China-made E3s. CLIFFS: As I get older, snake-oil car parts lose their luster. My pride is left intact.
  7. Need another PowerWheels since the one I bought for my son got written off in the basement fire at our house; ServiceMaster already threw it away. CLIFFS: Had this, lost it in the fire http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110130&highlight=jeep Still looking for a CR deal. Thanks!

  9. Doc, FWIW I'd block off the MICR (routing/ABA number and account number) from the bottom of that check image...
  10. The British call it "Heavy Fog" http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRQ97xZnaF-qnLuI9fyizqPmY0oc2TAEIJ7dRtA6P1lzvC8ibgs
  11. My bad...much like David and Dr. Shaw with the alien ship, I'm still figuring out the mod features of CR
  12. No.... BUT JOANS DID I expected suspense and a good ending. Event Horizon and every other sci-fi movie I've ever seen was better...
  13. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112178 I guess "Contact" delves into the questioning of why we exist, and "Prometheus" offers a suggestion that we are the NJ-Turnpike shit-stall McSteak of terraforming that happened from the results of a far superior race. Still just a movie....concocted from man. The questions still stand, with no closer resolution to an answer.
  14. ...what a disappointing ending. The movie is thought-provoking, but in a wasted, who-gives-a-fuck kind of way. Mental masturbation without the visual or physical kind; I would ask for my money back if it wasn't already a free viewing. I'll send Ridley Scott an invoice for my personal time spent watching - and mental space inadvertently remembering - this dreck.:thumbdown
  15. That's next on my list. Not too far from my apartment...
  16. Holy cow...surprising what a visual difference that leveling kit makes! :megusta::megusta:
  17. Why I appreciated Sean's input as well. We both wondered...with as many cars as PAG cycles...why has this '02 sat in their building since last fall?
  18. Thank you for the offer! I'd be happy to take you up on that, but I will also be looking for an E36 M3 convertible as well...
  19. Regardless of powertrain, I srsly approve of this project. GL with getting everything together!
  20. In my continued quest to find a 4-seater convertible for my DD driving enjoyment (during nicer months) as well as having fun with the family, I stopped by Physicians Auto Group and test-drove a silver/black 6-speed M3 convertible. It had 104k miles and the exterior/engine bay were in beautiful shape. The black interior, however, was a mess....reminded me of other non-garaged Florida cars! Totally unrelated to my residing in UA, I had thought the BMW 3-series convertible would be a great choice: premium brand, great quality, high-resale value, top-notch driving characteristics. As was recommended by others, I should skip all the lower 3-series and go straight to the M3... Driving: Including the RX-8, there isn't a smoother-revving car I've ever driven. Even with the top down, the exhaust is phenominal, but I want it louder. It's almost TOO smooth, as the little alarm that sounds when you hit a certain speed (set by the dealership in this case) sounded abruptly at 87mph, shocking me out of the stellar highway acceleration experience I was enjoying. Once settled at 70mph on 71, the ride was like buttah; the engine just hummed and the body tightened up. almost no cowl shake, and the ride was tight but compliant. It was a truly incredible car to drive. Admittedly, I've been out of the speed game for awhile, and my mind wasn't operating at a level to keep me out of trouble with the car: my side-mirror glances weren't quick enough to needle through traffic while still monitoring the ever-increasing speed. It was a hot-and-heavy test drive (with salesman in passenger seat!) that really left me wanting more. Engine: I know they make more powerful engines, but I'm sure not a better inline-6. Knowing BMW engineering and longevity, there's something to be said for having the confidence that your car will still be driving and enjoyable 25-30 years later. Power is strong and linear, like a high-performance N/A German plant should be. I seriously don't understand why people would boost this engine; the balance seems perfect. Design: For me, the E46 M3 is one of the best looking BMW's next to the E36. the coupes lines are great but lop off the roof and it still looks low-slung and muscular. Front/rear overhang are perfect. Stock body kit is great; aftermarket just ruins it. Interior: This FL convertible clearly spent (as I lived in FL myself) too much time without a garage. The black leather interior was intact, but seriously stressed. I remember my Corvette and Passat; how rough even a couple of years of occasional all-day parking jobs will kill your interior, even with the windows down. That was the biggest disappointment of THIS car. In terms of interior design, the layout is great and with some front seat adjustments I was able to sit in the back - comfortably - by myself. The German touches and controls reminded me of my Passat with some of the features, and my only gripe about it was that the shitty 2002 Navigation screen was illegible with polarized sunglasses. For $16.5k, it's a hell of a value. It does have 104k miles on it, but that really just made me appreciate how solid it still felt: Truly a great drivers' car. This is the first car that I am going to get my wife to come drive also. If she likes it, I will try to find a lower-mileage '02-'05 for more money. At least I feel this would truly be a long-term car solution worth investing in; I liked the Mustang but honestly couldn't see my wife being proud of having one in our garage. I gotta kick the Mustang out of bed; I definitely see the M3 convertible fitting the bill for me (provided wifey likes it too!):thumbup: Bonus: Went to Northend Wrench and spoke to Sean (Crossle)...gather his thoughts on the E46 M3. He suggested driving an E36 M3 as well...may try to find a good example of that also...
  21. If I was called "The Tool Man", I'd be expected to have at least 2 of everything! HEY! If you were a Craftsman tool, what tool would you be? It's a simple question, TIM TAYLOR... http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ22nvi_BqTCBO_O0KmJ7LOi2WIVeMMFETMwNJrMsHMBQLrpIClWw
