  1. Neighbor has the same year bike...never heard a better-sounding 650 bike. GLWS!
  2. Steel or aluminum? What degree? Price for 6degree wedges and u-bolts?
  3. ...and it's an automatic. PERFECT! :fa:
  4. Regards 2 your Scoob: Just because I didn't say it, doesn't mean I wasn't thinking it before. FYI, did some research and your hub-centric argument why there are no center caps is bogus. If the wheels don't have them, they don't have them. When I look at those wheels, I think you found 4 spares that are only going to be on the car until your REAL wheels and tires get back from the shop. IMO
  5. If marijuana was legalized, this little town in VT would have functioning police cars today. BUTTAHFLY EFFECT
  6. Holy shit....those are some awesome cars!!!
  7. Never been a fan of the "open hub" look...it's unfinished. Needs center caps. Looking forward to seeing it in person!
  8. Looking forward to first "C&C Farmer's Market"! EDIT EDIT: Bugger...flight is mid-morning. Let me know how things go! EDIT EDIT EDIT: Will be there! But gotta roll out at 9am.

  10. Indeed...I'm feelin' it! The axle is still under the leaf spring pack, so the factory pinion yoke on the driveshaft is now pointing to the truck bed as the driveshaft is now nearly flat! I actually need to lower the front of the axle to lower the front differential yoke, and get the angle back in line. Probably need new U-bolts while I'm at it. In a perfect world, I could gnarl the perches off the axle, rotate the angle, and reweld the perches to the axle EASILY.
  11. As a student pilot and aviation aficionado, I would say complete your training as an A&P. After flying yesterday afternoon I just heard something on the radio talking about how much of the current outsourcing for heavy mechanical work may be reshored...would make demands for certified A&P's much higher. My other advice to you is be prepared to MOVE for the right opportunity. My whole family is in Ohio, but my career move to FL a few years back was one of the greatest choices I made. After a few years, I moved back to Ohio a better man and a more experienced employee. No offense to anyone here, but you can't complain about your job and life if you're not willing to overcome family issues to make a change for the better... Can you finish your A&P on student loans at Embry-Riddle, work PT yourself? Wife can get a PT position down there?
  12. $57 worth of Monroe Air-Max air shocks in the rear, plumbed to a schrader valve just behind the rear bumper, gave it a 1-2" bump in the rear and eliminated the bottoming out. The old shocks had HOLES RUSTED THROUGH the metal boots...They had absolutely no charge left in them. Time for front shocks as well! I'm impressed by the air shocks. Totally plain brown box and simple instructions, but all pieces and the shocks themselves were Made in USA. The shocks definitely felt heavy-duty, and the air lines, o-rings and valves were quality pieces. Test drive was very rewarding: I was impressed by how well the rear rode with only a bit of clearance to the bumpstops. Air shocks raised the rear bumper a touch, but the rear was far more solid than before. Still a bit of driveline vibration to deal with to make the lowering job a success in my mind...
  13. +10, but only because i don't drag race. I understand your reasons for the 4L60. AWESOME BUILD!
  14. LOL. I'm all over the place. Srsly, I'm going to now fly a Cessna. :fuckyeah:
  15. 2-rotor, 3-rotor, 4-rotor, 6-rotor...same sound. BRAP BRAP BRAPPITTY BRAP
  16. 2014 MOOSTANG 3-CYL ECOBOOST... BOSS 61.0237??? BRB, getting a trademark for the hockey-stick side decals on the Fiesta...
  17. +100. I still love the Ram vans with oil coolers bolted to the front bumper. Funneh thing is the reverse: Japanese tourists telling their friends "Why are there so many SUVs on the road in America? I see a couple of hondas, toyotas and suzukis, but the shopping centers are filled with Suburbans, Expeditions, and Land Crusiers!" DUBBLEYARR-TEA-ARRRRF?
  18. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/07/31/2012-ford-focus-1-0-liter-ecoboost-quick-spin-review/ 217lbs with full accessory drive and turbo? Block about the size of an 8.5"x11" piece of paper??? After doing my fair share of wrenching and clutch jobs, that's the most attractive feature of this engine. :masturboy:
  19. Welcome to the site!

  21. His E*Trade Baby account might not allow options trading? I like where your head is at, tho...
  22. I think reading this whole thread made me sterile.
  23. :yuno:Y U NO OFFER STICK IN USA FOR "GLOBAL PLATFORM"? I can understand that certain Euro/Asian engines don't meet strict U.S. standards, but if you have the same engine offered on a car in Europe with a stick, why not offer it in the U.S. as well? VW can't keep up with TDI-6speed Jetta Sportwagen sales, right? There IS A MARKET HERE...
  24. No stick shift, and the whole point of a Jeep for me is a 4WD vehicle with removable top. I'm not tired of waiting...
  25. In my travels to Cleveland and back yesterday, I reminded myself that the Wrangler is supposed to be redesigned and possibly packing a diesel in 2013/2014. Also, I'm looking for another cheap 4x4... Regardless, either option denotes that I benefit from waiting for the right opportunity.
