  2. Try reading the article, brojangles. Diet soda is carcinogenic, toxic, and gives you the herp-a-derpes. Kinda knew that, but didn't know specifics. Little uglier when the facts are in front of you.

    Question?

A Greek, an Irishman, and a Portuguese go to a bar and order drinks all night long. Who picks up the bill? A German. :gabe:
  4. Gut the interior, get a crazy hood scoop, $75 paint job w/ "Frankenstein"-inspired graphics over the crinkled body panels...I can see it now... Or, straight exhaust from turbo back, cut the springs, drive it annoyingly 'til something breaks... Possibilities are there!
  5. I'm in tears, Senor Juan de Tilley. Well played. My turn: NEW CBUS CASINO MOVED TO WEST BROAD. ARMED MUGGERS REJOICE, NO NEED TO TAKE BUS TO ROBAFELLA.
  6. Wow. F that noise. No moar diet soda for me.
  7. In all syrisness, that's a great deal for a car you know you're going to rally or track. Even if it breaks my god, you should be able to get a few bucks for salvagable parts and scrap the rest! I'd be interested if I didn't have a couple of projects already.

  10. Yes. However, one can argue that it depends on how much interest you've been paying over the last 6-7 years...and if your original bank still has the loan on it's books! If the bank sold your loan on the secondary market (as most major banks have), then your original loan with Fifth Third is technically on Wells Fargo's books as an example. The bank will have made money on the initial loan (did you pay closing costs? any points or down payment on the house? Escrow fees? billing/late charges?) as well as continually servicing the loan OR by selling it for a shorter-term gain, and freeing up the capital the bank had invested in your house to now make ANOTHER loan to someone else.
  11. I'd be happy to discuss options with you - I'm FINRA-licensed and have my CRPC - but I don't know military benefits very well.
  12. Bringing this back...I am willing to swap in ANY driveshaft as long as I can get the U-joints to bolt on either side and it's long enough to function properly!!! Anyone going to a JY?
  13. Yeeah...just bought brand new Ford EFI manifolds on eBay for $60.
  14. So...has this thread been helpful to you? Has "3 months of research" and talking with all the finance gais shown a way? Did CR break through the mental block you have at what to do next?
  15. I failed at an online post. You're failing at responsible borrowing in today's society. :gabe:
  16. Bleccchhh...not worth it. Thanks, guys!
  17. BANK MADE ME BUY HAUS...DISRESPECTED MAH HOLE FAMLY RON PAUL FOR NEW HAUS 2012...HAKUNA MATATA!!!!
  18. He may be out of commission for a bit, but Jason (wnaplay) has done great work for me in the past...
  19. How much would it be to have 1 crack in a cast iron exhaust manifold welded? I'm looking at getting a cheap set of EFI Ford manifolds for the 300ci inline-6...they bolt in place of the stock and very restrictive log-type exhaust manifold I currently have. However, as this thread implies, one of the pair may be cracked. Thanks!
  20. If the Caprice is reasonably rust-free and in good running condition, not a bad option. Link?
  21. I have a friend (neighbor and CC&C attendee) that just got a $2800 Bendpak 4-post for his home garage. After seeing it in person, and how he can now put three cars in his garage definitely made me want one. Everything else is a compromise.
  22. What are "compressors" at 5:24? LOL @ Q45 not giving a fuck.
  23. Seriously. For being such a horribly sad story, I've never seen so many comments fullawin.
