  1. I also used blue fabric/foam backing with 3M spray adhesive from JoAnn on my '82 Chevy. That was 2007, in hot weather and in cold it still is holding up great and looks/feels like factory. Make sure you use a straight edge/stiff-bristle brush to scrape all the loose crap off the header board before spraying on the adhesive. Spray both the board and fabric back, let it tack over 10mins or so, then press them both together. Easy as hairpie.
  2. I was surprised at how much surface rust shows up on used cars in SW Florida. Anyplace near the ocean breeze should be avoided. I would definitely focus on the Carolinas/Georgia. Watch out for flood- and storm-damaged vehicles in Mississippi/Alabama/Arkansas/Louisiana. Personally, I drive used cars here locally, but if I made a purchase I would likely do so somewhere south, even if it meant a $750-$1000 shipping/price premium.
  3. Link taken down! Any other place to see this?
  4. Great job! LOL @ Turbo Teen .gif. I haven't seen that show since grade school...
  5. That video was...uhh...off the chain? OK, I'm stretching a bit on that one...
  6. I'm surprised that people haven't brought up another problem of the Blue Jackets: John P McConnell. Unlike his father - visionary, compassionate, committed to Columbus, excellent businessman - the younger McConnell has let this organization and it's culture begin a nasty spiral downward. I'm not saying that this is all his fault, but he's definitely not being the leader his father was.
  7. For longer-term ownership, I would really stick with the F150. I think Ram's look awesome, but the quality is not up to Ford's standards. Hate to sound like a commercial, but the logic is sound: there's a reason the F-150 is the best-selling truck in America since 1492.
  8. Back in the 90s, we called it "grunge".
  9. Looking to pickup used driveshaft to connect fixed output yoke on 4-speed manual transmission to fixed-yoke rear end. Truck is a long bed...may need 2-piece with center bearing to support it...has to have a slip joint somewhere.
  10. Thanks to all the PM's with contacts so far!
  11. THIS SSHH IS BANANAS. B A N A N A S!
  12. Not an insurance job; this is just a private-owner job. The house needs to be cleaned up enough that people could reasonably walk-through but know that gutting would definitely be needed after the home was purchased. Eliminating visible mold is not ultimately needed. So, more of a major cleanup. But, hazardous conditions. *I'm actually talking to the client over a speakerphone while typing *
  13. Anyone on here do HAZMAT, or Mold remediation on a really bad house? It's dirty, but needs furniture out, and drywall/flooring ripped up. Two years' worth of dust, cobwebs, etc. There would be some stuff that owner could save. We don't want anyone that's going to try to scam the insurance company. ServPro, Prism have been out to the house so far. Thanks, CR! EDIT: NOT MY HOUSE! One of my wife's clients, who needs to sell the property.
  14. +1. Cruising back in full effect.......circa 2016.
  15. LOL @ Gauntlet reference. -rep to me for instantly recognizing it. Sorry it's an automatic. Many happy miles to you otherwise!

  18. http://www.powerblocktv.com/player/show_player.php?ep_show=TK&ep_num=TK2011-16 I'm going to be painting my '82 Ford in the spring. The hood has a lot of surface rust, so I'm going to take it off and hone my technique before going all over the rest of the truck...
