https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a26929055/ford-bronco-suv-new-details/ Now that I've got a famiry, I like the idea of cruising around town in a topless "Jeep", but could never get comfortable with FCA's quality over the years. Will be really interesting to see this come to fruition. Even if it's automatic-only, a 2-door/4-door removable top SUV will be a ridiculous hit. Will also be interesting to see GM follow suit. How long did the Jeep Wrangler run unopposed? Last Blazer/Bronco's with removable tops were in the '90s??? If Ford does the Bronco, there's no doubt that GM will jump into the game in the next 5 years. Too bad they gave the Blazer name to some bloated Equinox. We all love to hate SUV's, but a return to some market-competitive open-wheeled 4x4s would be a refreshing change I could see myself buying (used...)

I've fallen in love with Menard's over the last couple of years. Quick check of their website shows Pennington bluegrass seed for $18.99 and some other cheaper Kentucky Bluegrass blend...

Are you re-seeding an existing lawn? Rent an overseeder: https://www.sunbeltrentals.com/equipment/detail/1162/0700014/lawn-overseeder-dethatcher-self-prop/ 1) Clear major winter branches/limbs 2) Overseed 3) Water (if it's not raining) It'll take a couple of months for the roots to grow, but that's what I'm going to do in the next week or so.

Political dumpster fire Part III Greg and Kerry Vs CR

Ohio SoS Frank LaRose was on NPR this morning, after they discussed Russia actively targeting mis-information campaigns in 37 states during the 2016 election season. LaRose stressed that Ohioans shouldn't fear the safety and validity of the electorial system. There was no evidence of actual Russian tampering, and "Psy-Ops" have been going on for decades: what used to be pamphlets pushed out the back of a plane are now memes and articles posted on social media. The American people need to be "skeptical consumers" of their media, and get their information from multiple sources. I have to say...well said by LaRose! I hope more and more people get to hear that message. -
It's a 300+hp Mustang, my guess. ...but not 400+hp

Political dumpster fire Part III Greg and Kerry Vs CR

You guys are looking too much into this. Perception is reality; If Trump is president for an economic boom (which of course he’s been owning), he’s going to have to own it if the economy cools. Plus, both sides will spin the economy to their narrative. However, the adage still holds strong: “It’s the economy, stupid.” -
I'm good with the C7 Z06 option! The 17/18 C5 Z06 wheels *yawn* are just...sooo *yawn* OVERDONE. Black C7 Z06 wheels? Now there is a look that I think goes well with the curves of the C5 body! Needs to be gloss black, not matte. C6 Z06 wheels are a little too pointy and edgy for the bubbly C5 styling.

Political dumpster fire Part III Greg and Kerry Vs CR

If we boil every successful presidential run (whether an incumbent or challenger wins a 4-year term), it would come down to one specific measure: the economy. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/25/the-us-bond-yield-curve-has-inverted-heres-what-it-means.html The 3-month/10-year inversion is one of the strongest predicators for an economic/stock market recession. I'm obviously hopeful that Trump, the Federal Reserve, and the government works together to maintain strength and unity in the face of economic headwinds. Time will tell. -
Glad you got your title issue resolved!

Following this thread... My 2001 Silverado 4.3L/4L60E with 83k miles has the same rattle. Sometimes it's there, sometimes not...once it gets to about 2200+rpms it totally goes away. Definitely sounds like something in the bellhousing area, checked the Tq converter bolts to flywheel and they were strong. With engine running and I'm looking in the inspection port on the bellhousing there doesn't seem to be any problem with wobble. Driveability is good (and has been for the last 4k miles I've driven since last January - nothing's gotten louder or worse) but it sounds like it's tumbling rocks at times when driving. Shifts fine. I fixed the orange "Tow/Haul" mode button and the trans works even better. Sounds like something's loose. I'm remembering that GM flexplates are made out of cereal-box cardboard, so maybe Cordell's right about the center of the flexplate...daddy doesn't want to pull the transmission doe.

What's "Sears"? Also, please, don't do the knock-off Z06 wheels.

Political dumpster fire Part III Greg and Kerry Vs CR

Definitely some "smoke", but no fire. No indictments on Friday means Trump is in the clear. What continues to amaze me is that - even with Trump calling it a "Witch Hunt" - he nearly created an obstruction-of-justice charge for a process that partially exonerated him anyway. Now, he needs to get back to work: - Keeping the U.S. economy strong amidst global economic recessionary fears. - A farming base in the U.S. heartland reeling from poor trade deals. - Pro-growth tax strategies and agendas for businesses and individuals. - Less romanticism of global dictators and despots (Putin, Xi, Kim Jong Un...) - Infrastructure improvements ...and less: - Scandals - Ignorant comments in public forums - Twitter wars - Race-baiting How's that wall coming along? Zero new miles constructed? Let's Make America Great Again! - Ronald Reagan, 1980 :gabe: -
Great looking car! Congrats on the find.

It is petty to hear pro-Trump people wanting to talk about Mueller’s investigation, now that its released going “L@@K DUMB LIBERALS! NO INDICTMENTS MEANS EVERYTHING’S FINE!!!1!!” The fact that the investigation legitimately happened is shame enough. -
Jeez...that’s a list! Well done, Jono!!!

Yup. Chalked up that one as a life lesson.

I don't know about furloughs, nor what impact they would have on her current employer if she claims unemployment... However, during the Recession I was let go when a start-up bank we were organizing died on the vine. I felt I had great contacts in the marketplace but underestimated the impact the economic downturn was having. Not wanting to check the box on certain job applications that "I had received government assistance in the past 12 months", I didn't file for unemployment assistance. An understandable month off of work turned into almost 6. We burned through a lot of our savings as I was carrying some unoccupied real-estate and my wife wasn't working since we had our first child. I never could substantiate if unemployment benefits truly affect a person's consideration as a job candidate with companies.....but I did regret not taking even a discounted salary for a few months as a new father. I pay for unemployment insurance through the government; I should've collected when I needed to.

Drove it to work on Friday...FEELS GOOD MAN Saturday morning...driving to Cars and Coffee. Jump on 315 and look in rear view mirror...I’m smoke-screening everyone. FUCK! Pull over on Lane Ave exit and coolant is gushing from the front of the motor. Engine is still running great, and I pop the radiator and it’s still got plenty of fluid, so I risk driving it about 1.5 miles back home, fogging everyone. Wasn’t sure if it was the waterpump or something else, so I grab the V to Cars and Coffee and let the Lincoln cool down. Come back and inspect it; there are two stubby rubber extensions from the waterpump to hard metal coolant lines going along the engine block to connect with rubber hoses to the HVAC on the firewall. Both were very deteriorated and ballooned. One ruptured... New heater hose, and an easy fix. Took it to COSI scale. 4720lbs with a full tank of fuel. Love cruising in this. However, the engine has an irregular idle, going up and down in revs until it eventually stalls. Runs fine on the street and highway. Also running pig rich. Need to check for vacuum leaks or EGR sticking. -
Sale pending...

$500 I'm sick of FB/CL flakes. Please get this out of my garage. <3

I agree with JP, as I mentioned earlier up the thread today. A lot of us are having fun with Mike's situation, living vicariously and making recommendations on what he should buy. Truthfully, he needs to get something simple and cheap to have as an "anchor" all-weather DD with some utility, and focus on the fun car later.
