  1. It blocks the stairs. I have to say that's weird feng shui to come up the front porch stairs to a wall. Maybe put a bench seat or a couple of seats with a table in the middle? Would definitely make the front of the house more homely.
  2. I meant that the front fender looks like it's stamped into the A-pillar/roofline/quarter panel.
  3. Is it the overhead angle, or are the front fenders part of the entire side stamping??? 255hp turbo, LSD, Brembo's and a stick...it's certainly not like Hyundai/Genesis isn't putting forth an admirable effort. I am NOT a fan of the front-angle pics of the G70, but the side profile looks more like an Alfa Romeo Giulia which is a great thing. Overall with the Stinger/G70, I am impressed.
  4. I got u, fam. http://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/738378771/overview/

  6. If you're truly looking at throwing $10k at a truck and build it up yourself (as opposed to buying one already done), you can't go wrong with an F100/Panther chassis/suspension swap. Thoroughly sorted-out geometry that's rugged/beefy with a huge aftermarket of replacement and hop-up parts for relatively cheap.
  7. Will you be using the NV3500? I have a 2000 Silverado 4.3L RCLB with a 4L60E... Heck, might use parts from the 4.3L depending on the miles. PM me if you're getting rid of parts!
  8. BTC - $6,736 LTC - $105 It's interesting to read these threads after months/years when the price fluctuates so much...
  9. Goddamn those are some stupid prices for older teeruks that have a matte paintjob and cut springs.
  10. 2.5L 5-cylinders sound good uncorked with a stick. GL with the project. I like the R32 front bumper! I'm a fan of MINI's as well...fun-but-economical DD. Welcome back to the site!
  11. If I went newer, I do like Lauren/Coltboostin's threads about the N54/N55 BMW...they seem to be relatively cheap and stick/hardtop'verts. Other car that's a little more of a unicorn is an Infiniti G37 stick/hardtop'vert. I probably wouldn't get a newer Jeep...I'm more of a lowered guy and would rather cruise more comfortably at 80mph on the highway than fake some off-road chops. Maybe just get some beater Wrangler and slowly fix it up over time down the road when my daughter gets closer to driving age...make it a daddy/daughter project. If the BMW goes, I'll definitely give the Mustang a drive, both S197 and S550.
  12. Good comments, guys... - In UA, the answer should be Jeep Wrangler as there are a million of them, but the new JL is the only one I'd be interested in and it's out of my price range. Maybe if I get rid of the BMW I'll start trolling CL for some cheap TJ. - Mustang...man...I just can't get my head around that one. Maybe S550 in a few years? But the Lincoln LS-based s197 is such a BIG CAR to me. - I do want to drive a 911 sometime, but I could never do anything less than an S or 4S. Those base Carrera's look pretty silly to me without wide fenders. Porsche fixed that with recent generations but again, more than I want to spend.
  13. So...I received an unsolicited offer for my '95 BMW that I'm entertaining, but in having some fun researching another car that fits my wants/needs: - stick-shift - Preferably RWD - Convertible - 4-seater, for the kids - A/C, modern power accessories (cruise control, windows, stereo, etc) - Sporty, but reliability/highway comfort more important than track performance ...I am finding nothing I'd want to spend decent money on or finance for what I'd be getting rid of the BMW for (not a lot of money)! It's definitely not the fastest, and it does need some maintenance done, but I DD it with the top down most days and it's still a ton of fun for what I want out of a driver as a suburban family man with a white-collar career. Anyone else feel like this? You see a great car you'd like to have, but happily realize your current ride is great, especially for being paid for? "If you can't be with the one you love, honey...love the one your with."
  14. My friend Aaron owns Sunlight Housepainting. He's getting ready to do my home exterior but had a bunch of interior jobs done before Graduation season. He does great work. https://www.sunlighthousepainting.com/
  15. Anyone still playing in the crypto market?
  16. What am I seeing here...TWO cars that are stripped to the rails with V8's in them???
  17. I don't know what to say anymore about Tim's pics.
  18. Was he supposed to walk away from the group like that? He looked to be setting a pretty fast “pace”...
  19. Not a freak....but FREAKING AWESOME! Featured on Jalopnik this morning, and apparently up in Mansfield! https://columbus.craigslist.org/ctd/d/1995-chevy-tahoe-4x4-65-turbo/6585498677.html
  20. https://www.bizjournals.com/columbus/news/2018/05/30/mls-commissioner-throws-shade-at-columbus-says.html?ana=e_colum_bn_breakingnews&u=IGw%2BQupQDpXCE9vhBhveIg0ebf6f75&t=1527782963&j=81883681 Soooo....MLS is doing a soccer team for Cincinnati now? Ugh
  21. Perfect example of slight tweaks (lowering, spacers, RWL) that makes strong factory styling look just right. I do love the way this car sits and looks. Well done.
  22. Wow! Damn, Brad...that house is turning out awesome. Drafts are now a thing of the past with that spray in insulation
