  1. :jerkit: It's a jeep for a 16 year old, not a supercar. Hell, it's not even a super car.
  2. Is the coolant reservoir the former windshield washer fluid reservoir or nah? At least it's got bald tires in the middle of winter. We all now live vicariously through you.
  3. Sounds like a good candidate for any vehicle. Plenty of experience with various vehicles and level headed. Gopher it. Sounds like you're doing enough of that for the lot of us. I always wanted a Wrangler. A few folks in HS had them. I LOVED m XJ though. Especially once lifted. Given my druthers I'd get another XJ and lift it but a Wrangler is cool fun for a 16 year old, period. Just don't let NB teach him how to...."drive". :barf:
  4. That's what I was wondering. I was waiting for the plot twist. lol Good on ya Clay and CR bro.
  5. Very nice. What's everyone's fascination with the muffuggin' train horns? I was on a site at a dealership while working as an electrician and some d-bag washer/detailer there rolled his bro truck outside the shop and started blaring it. Naturally everyone came out to see...then proceeded to also call him a d-bag. It's worse than "rollin' coal" IMO. YMMV.
  6. Meanwhile, 2 threads down... May not help with the remodeling but there's your current convo on garage builders.
  7. ^ this. I also prefer my steering wheel centered.
  8. Ah yes. That was the night an officer asked me what my tachometer was for and when I said, "so I know when to shift," he asked, "why do you need to know when to shift." I looked at him like, , and without missing a beat said, "so I get better fuel mileage." Good times. He'd better use some of that $millions to pay his debts.
  9. Fair enough. I have read each, but you're basically right. :lolguy:
  10. Joined originally at the beginning of CR as "92 Tercel". Only had a 1991 Geo Prizm before that so I'll start my pathetic list there. 1) 1992 Toyota Tercel 2) 1991 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight 3) 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4) 1995 Ford Escort briefly lol 5) 2002 VW Jetta 6) 2001 VW Passat 7) 1997 Dodge Dakota 8) 1978 Chevy K10 9) 2001 Hyundai freElantra 10) 1999 Ford JAG150 11) 2008 Crown Vic Police Interceptor 12) 1995 Ford Crown Vic 13) 2009 Toyota Camry 14) 1982 Ford F100 ...sorry I'm not better. :lolguy: Someone is ashamed of their past. For real though that made me lol.
  11. Winter didn't come to y'all. Y'all went to winter. Glad you guys had a good time and made it back safe.
  12. Had a level 2 down here today. Decent amount of ice and about 3-4 inches of snow. Drove the momry around all day without issue. 2/10. Would not snowpocalypse this way again.
  13. I mean, I can help with the demo. :ninja:
  14. Fair enough. ...gimme 2 weeks. I know I BS a lot on here and I have no ambition to own 10 sec car but I look forward to seeing all you OG bro's going at it again. Hope to make some events this year and spectate if nothing else.
  15. That's pretty impressive. The 1LE is no joke. I get from a driver standpoint most of us would prefer a true manual but man, we're living in a time where factory cars are performing amazingly well and the companies are starting to challenge each other once again. What a time to be alive.
  16. I don't disagree...but you've posted way more about how nobody races than you've raced so... :gabe: Untwist the undergarments. The folks those comments were directed at (in jest) both understood they were directed at them and understood the joking nature. Don't go getting all triggered. Guess it's a good thing you didn't sell your cars any one of those 13 times you claimed you were going to, huh? :gabe: Simmer. This is also a joke.
  17. Nobody here REALLY races. They attend 1 actual racing event and a weekend trip to a curvy road a year then talk shit to all the other members who have greater responsibilities for being at only 1 event per year. ...or they sold their "race car" and talk shit anyway. I call bullshit. You've basically been trying for years but keyboard fight club. What vehicle is it you'll be racing again? I forgot.
  18. Says the guy who went to a twisty public road and a drag strip last year. #professionalracer Ignore him. He's just super salty that not everyone has a Camaro 1LE and a truck that doesn't go when you mash the pedal. Ignore him as well. He's not looking to upgrade either vehicle. In before triggered response. gabe.jpg
