Being almost 100% stock and with just a basic tune (codes & minor tranny stuff) thats about right. There is more to be had in the car, but I'd wait to get a full dyno tune till you get more mods on the car to make it worth while. Bill

About a year ago, I upgraded my video from on-board to a real video card. I bought a XFX Geforce 8600 256mb PCI Express x16 card. Works great but the fan noise is starting to get to me. You stop the video card fan with your finger and all is quiet. I really don't play that many video games so don't need top of the line. What would you guys recommend for around $100.00 that works well, has DVI out, runs cool and QUIET. Bill

I am doing a head swap on my brother in laws car tomorrow and was trying to find a dirt cheap cam for him. 02-04 LS6 would be ok but the base circle is different and he already bought pushrods. I told him to wait till he got more money to do it right but he wants the heads on with a stock cam. Bill

Congrats! save a lot of money, buy a lot of size 2 & 3 diapers, and just go with the flow. get ready for the mood swings, they can be bad at times and really test you. When the baby is born cut your free time in half!

Do you know anyone that works at TS Tech on East Broad Street? Is it a good place to work at? All I know is that they make car seats for Honda and Toyota. I have an interview tomorrow afternoon and was wondering if anyone on here has any good/bad things to say about them. Teens, 16-18? Had a great time, kinda had a haunted house - Moving ghost, jacobs ladder, tesla coil, spiders, creepy music, chopped of heads, strobe lights, 6 ft scary blow up pumpkin, etc. Probably had about 10-12 kids that wouldn't come up to my house because it was too scary for them. lol

Others always say they have gone to the dark side (GM) but after they have owned a GM especially a LS1 car, they can't say enough good things about it. Where at?

I keep having the AT&T people pushing their new U-Verse (cable, internet, phone). They were just at my house. I currently have Wowway and for the most part, I'm ok with it. It does what I need it to do. With my current WOW package it costs me $89 a month (1 HD DVR, internet, analog cable, 10-15 HD channels) and my phone is seperate at $31 a month. They keep telling me theirs is better, I will get 1 HD DVR and up to 5 other digtial boxes where you can watch a prerecorded show that is on the DVR on any of the other boxes in the house. Its all digital (U200) and I get digital phone for a grand total of $135.00 and I'm locked in for 5 years. Who has the new AT&T U-verse, do you like it, is it better than WOW? They are coming back tomorrow... lol Bill

I'll have to check them out, I always forget that they have good deals. The amp is small, 8ga is more than enough. Also need the wire for my solar project.

Where did you work before as a tech? What did you get into now? There use to be a bigger market for guys like me but the economy made them disappear. I'll check them out, I do have experience in the Plastic industry as well.
