I play probably 10-15 times a year. I used to play a lot more often, but balancing so many hobbies is expensive. Not great, mid 90's normally, best I've shot was an 82.

I'd rather watch Cody and Dave on Dual Survival. I never liked Man vs. Wild.

I'm down to 263 from 280 since I started playing hockey at the beginning of December. Started using the LoseIt app yesterday to start tracking my food intake. If anyone is on there let me know and I'll add you as a friend. I'm trying to make it down to 225 where I was after high school. According to LoseIt I should be there around August of this year. It is definitely giving me some motivation.

I use mine to do all that stuff and watch Blu-Rays. Oh wait that's my PS3, nevermind.

I'd probably ground her and take away her phone, no texts or facebook shit. That seems to be the best punishment for younger kids these days. They obviously need to be on the same page though. If she's going to be an idiot and let the girl walk all over them then he might as well get out.

That's the kind of advertising that actually makes me want to buy something. Hilarious.

My dad has a bumper pool table. I used to play it a lot when I was a kid. I don't know how well it'd play on octagonal table though, seems like a weird setup.

Was anyone kept out of kindergarten as a kid an extra year? My son turns 5 next month and his doctor suggested that we not enroll him in kindergarten this year because of his size. He's in the lower 20% of kids his age for his size and weight. He hasn't developed physically as quickly as other kids. Dr. said if he is interested in sports (which he is) it would be better to keep him out another year so he'll be more physically advanced when he's older. He's currently playing baseball in the summer, just finished up basketball, and takes hockey classes next month. These are 3-5 year old activities and he's 6" shorter than almost everyone in his classes. He's basically a bit bigger than the 3 year olds. I haven't pushed him into any of them, he asks me to sign him up for them. It had nothing do with mentally b/c he said he's very smart for his age, but it'll help him when he's older. Every adult male in my family is over 6' tall and a few of them reaching 6'6"+. With that kind of size it'll only help him with extra curricular activities and give him a great shot of playing for a college with a scholarship of some sort. I'm still torn on what to do, either put him in head start/preschool this year or enroll him in kindergarten. My ex-wife's mother-in-law is a teacher in Gahanna and she suggested that we keep him out another year. Her other teacher friend said the same thing.

Nash told ownership that he wanted the management of the team to change or he wanted out. I can't blame him for that. The front office of this team is the laughing stock of the NHL. At least he is sticking to his guns. I wouldn't want to stick around for a Priest/Howson show again after 5 years of nothing to show for it.

It means... Nathan McKinnon, here we come.

Anyone know how bad 270 still is? I have a game tonight at Chiller Dublin. I might just take 315 N to 270 W.

I wouldn't want to touch Bryzgalov's contract at all. That's a horrible contract and we'd be stuck with him for a while. I'm pretty sure it's around 7 mil a year.

A parrot? :dumb:

It's be said a few time around the hockey boards that the price that is rumored from Philly will be . James van Riemsdyk + Sergei Bobrovsky + Brayden Schenn or Sean Couturier Apparently that is what Howson has been asking for.
-
Yeah. Couturier wasn't suppose to fall all the way to the 8th pick. We traded for Carter before the draft. I think if we knew Couturier would fall that far they wouldn't have traded the pick away.
-
It's all conditional. We only get the first round pick this year if LA makes the playoffs and we decide we want it. If LA doesn't make the playoffs we automatically get their 2013 1st rounder.

This. Once I heard it was to Phoenix I was praying for the hometown kid to come our way, but alas Connor Murphy will stay in the desert. While I hate Howson and Priest this was a decent return for Vermette, but Craig Patrick will probably be in on every move from here on out and that can only help the team. Nail will be a star, so I'm not worried about that. At this point I don't mind if we lose out next year as well b/c the #1 pick next year is going to be a superstar, Nathan McKinnon. There hasn't been a kid this hyped since Crosby and he gets a lot of comparison to Sidney. If we get both of the #1 picks the next couple years and rebuild a lot like the Pens/Hawks/Caps, maybe try to get another top 10 pick this year and select Dumba. Get a decent tender to come our way, we'll be money.
-
I doubt anyone is going to give the return that Howson expects before the trade deadline. It would make much more sense to trade him at the draft if we are going to move him. It'd be alot easier to get a great return. Almost everyteam that wants him right now is too close to the cap.

What is everyone's opinion on the Gatorade Prime and Recovery? I've taken both the last couple ice times I had. I'm not sure if it is just in my head, but I feel to skate better and my shots are very strong lately. Almost everyone on my team was complimenting how well I was playing last night. Now the only exercise I really partake in is playing hockey, usually 1-1.5 hours each 3 times a week. I ride my bike probably 1-2 hours a week, but other than that not much. I take a multi and a B12 everyday. I'm built to be a pretty big guy, but just looking to lose weight and keep progressing my hockey game. I've been eating a lot better only cheating once a week with a burrito or some chinese. I'm just wondering if this stuff works well for what I'm looking for. I figure the protein in the recovery will help all the muscles I use in hockey to get stronger and the prime helps with energy on the ice. Any other recommendations?

This shit is so :dumb:

I don't have holds on ebay sales. Never have. I've sold about 30 items within the last month.

Because I ran out of Hello Kitty air fresheners.

Most of my friends who got tattoos that young have had a lot of them covered up. I'd go with no unless it's a tribute kind of tattoo. I got my first when I was 21 and it had meaning same with my others.

Body Language off Hamilton does great work. I've gotten all my stuff done there.

They don't need to know these things that's what their phone and google are for. :dumb: It's funny he gives them an out for being caught on surprise, but I named everything correct before they even answered. They are just idiots.
