sounds like rust or some loose sand cast that didn't come out when they cast the block if your over 12k they won't cover it just flush it out real good and replace the coolant

yeah I also just found a tech buuletin about the ignition switches failing and cuasing the problem I'm going to check that next

if I plugged something in wrong would anything else have fries besides the cluster? I don't think I did but ya never know

changed heater core in my blazer and now my guages don't work swapped out for a good cluster also pulled dash again to make sure everything was plugged in right any ideas I'm about to set this thing on fire and push it out in the road
