  13. did you get the chunk of ear off from under the bolt? get the pressure off the bolt and it should come out if it doesn't you'll need to drill it

  18. some GM's use four the flexplate can crack in between the boltholes where it mounts on the back of the crank I use transmission masters in Reynoldsburg next to Rally's, they do a free road test and estimate

  21. if its an open hole you can drill it and use a nut and a lockwasher it would be better to tap the hole, but either method will work
  22. cracked flexplate or a bolt may have backed out and rubbing on something

  24. it sounds like he's working on the van in his driveway I offered him I viable alternative if your replacing the starter it won't hurt a damn thing to break the ear off
