two nights ago a cop on a bicycle was riding down the street in front of my parents house this dude jumps off his bike in front of my neighbors house pulls his gun and procedes to empty it into my neighbors dog while the neighbor is outside right next to it. my dad and the other neighbor come over to see whats going on and the cops arrest the other neighbor for asking questions. Amazingly enough the dog lived its back leg was shot in half and its shoulder is shattered it needs several thousand dollars in surguries to maybe have the oppurtunity to walk again. last year they shot a kid across the street who was driving impaired after they had him blocked with four cruisers and he couldn't get away and a little while before that they chased a purse snatcher from wal mart untill they crashed into a business. my question is this why would officer pickering of the reynoldsburg police department feel the need to shoot a dog in the middle of the day in a suburban neighborhhod who was in its yard with its owner doing regular old dog things while there were little kids playing outside and in the park a hundred yards away. and a warning a lot of you hang out in reynoldsburg on weekends at jegs and hooters and krogers might want to wear a vest in case one of these guys decides to trip out again.

most fwd fords use press fit hub bearings its not the price of the bearings its pulling the damn spindles off to put them in that drives the price up...

you can look for a vacum leak without any special tools... get a can of brakeclean or intake cleaner and mist it around suspect spots... if you have a leak the idle will change hth

what happened to the plug and the terminal for the alternator thats made into the harness. I can maybe look at it sometime if you want... send me a pm

when you feel froggy I have a thunderbird that you can't pass... ps if your golf is turbo and the clutch is stock get a good aftermarket one if you beat on it much the stock ones are junk...

the front springs are close I'm going to try them probably lower the car about an inch in the front the rears will not work at all

I got lucky and yanked a complete 30k mile motor out of a 2000 mountaineer. so its got all the good GT-40 stuff on it. should make a fun daily driver. its currently stuck on a lift at work becuase a previous owner decided to hack like 6 coils out of every spring.

power bleeders are useless just have someone sit in the car and pump the pedal and follow the bleeding sequence in the sertvice manual don't forget to bleed the abs unit as well if it has one.

some where you should have a claenout in your big drainline just inside the house before it goes out to the main sewer in the street find the cleanout and run the snake there you may have roots in the drain tile depending on hos old the house is you can rent a special snake with a root cutting head if that ends up being the problem hth
