  1. skylark... I fgured it out another guy with an efi bigblock car sent me some pictures of his manifold.
  2. symptoms- oil smells like fuel exhuast is popping.... you have a bad injector, fpr, or a bad mass air meter. you not only are leaking fuel past the rings into the oil but some of the excess fuel is running into the exhuast and igniting... if you can put it on a scanner and look at your maf values if they are in range its a fuel system problem. you can chaeck the reg with a pressure tester and you can check for open or shorted injectors with a multi-meter. hope this helps
  3. pull the starter and have it tested. if it tests good replace the positive battery cable.
  4. probably an unrelated problem pull the drums back off and look for seized or broken hardware/ wheel cylinders. if the wheel cyliders appaer to be frozen open the bleeder screw and see if they push back in. if it pushes back in the brake hose is bad if it still won't push in the wheel cylinder is toast. hope this helps
  5. our stock bulk oil at eastland firestone is now Kendall 10w30 synthetic blend. a complete lube/oil/filter/inspection will run you about 12 bucks. you can't change it yourself for that price and you don't even have to get dirty. average wait time is 30-45 minutes any day of the week.
  6. I'm pretty sure I have this manifold layed out right but I want to double check before I start drilling holes... I want to install the injector in such a way that it points as directly at the intake valve as possible right? I am also of the understanding that the bottom of the injector should be flush with the roof of the manifold so it does not impede airflow. I only get one shot to drill the holes and I don't wanna screw it up. thanks in advance
  7. thanks for the info thats a good price for a set of 8 smile.gif
  8. I can get you a good deal on an alignment too if you need one now...

  11. maybe she shouldn't talk shit when people I know are sitting around listening... maybe you shouldn't either. I'm going to do what I have to do to stop the shit talking if you can't keep it under control or say it to my face...
  12. I didn't vote to ban you either... oh wait thats becuase I got removed from the admin section without a warning or a pm too... my posts also got deleted that did contain a very firm public warning for some folks who can't mind their own business... see ya friday chris....
  13. if your just running a tap in to clean up threads the mess is minimal just fix it and screw the sparkplug in its not going to hurt a thing
  14. actually you used to stock that light socket and now you have to order it. its in the motormite lighting and connector book if the guy comes back. not knocking you guys who still sell parts on a daily basis but from the quality of the help I've seen localy its easier for me to just look up the shit myself at home and then go to the store with part numbers and wait while the pull what I want. you have to remeber in retail that most of the people you are selling to are poor if they had money they wouldn't be doing the work themselves theyd be paying someone to do it for them.
  15. had the bay doors open at the shop all day it was nice to let some fresh air in.

  19. you can still buy them from the dealer the whole set of seals is a little pricey but its the only way to get them to stop leaking
  20. no pics of the sweet sandblasting job you had done on those headers before paint? or the awesome sledgehammer work on the firewall to fit those headers in the car?
  21. how bad is the 90 wrecked it may be easier to fix the 90 than to do an engine swap if it isn't hit too hard
