I've seen the actual accumulator break in a chrysler before not a spring though they usually just get weak and make it shift sloppy

I would hook it up to a scanner and then drive it so you can watch all the values in real time. if the ses light is not the detonation is probably from the chip... I ran the same kind of chip on my dakota with spray but only to eliminate the speed limiter...

all the internal 8.8 ford parts will interchange just make sure to use the correct size carrier for whatever gear you plan to use...

your stock gap is between .035-.045 you could run as much as .060 with that setup and have good results... hth

first is the SES light on? second if it is on what code is it? my best guess without ever seeing the car is the Iac motor is going or the tps is sending funny voltage out. hth

does it run at all? I could take a look at it at work on my day off if you want... the painless harness for an f-body should be pretty much plug and play... also here are some things to look at... is the harness made for electronic speedo or mechanical they are different... do you have all the fuses and relays installed? and lastly go through the directions one wire at a time and make sure everything is wired properly hth

havn't been under a talon in awhile, but you might try some of these things. sticky tires equal lenght axles solid motor mounts runner a stiffer rear shock/spring (keeps the front from lifting so much) you can even replace the rear shock with a piece of pipe with shock eyes welded on it this will keep the front of the car planted when you get it on it (not for street duty though) as a band aid you can ride the clutch out of the hole a little when you luanch and then stand on it 60 or 80 feet out. it ruins your 60' time but it keeps the car from bouncing around so much wich can break shit hope some of this helps its a little harder to get a fwd down the track but it is possible smile.gif

like new take offs 85-90% tread I have three of them should fit malibu's and grand am's maybe some other mid size gm stuff I'd like 15 bucks a tire or 40 for all three
