  2. it used to be the cool thing on the 40-50's customs that had flamethrowers on them its mostly to keep from hurting the finish and showed off the fact that the car had duals
  3. sounds like the electrical system is wired funny and there is too much current in the light socket you might try here http://134.39.200.6:9001/home.html service info for most late model gm vehicles
  4. its all good I sent you an email. hey berto chill dawg..... damn

  6. Wackiness: 30/100 Rationality: 40/100 Constructiveness: 30/100 Leadership: 70/100 You are an SEDL--Sober Emotional Destructive Leader. This makes you a dictator. You prefer to control situations, and lack of control makes you physically sick. You feel have responsibility for everyone's welfare, and that you will be blamed when things go wrong. Things do go wrong, and you take it harder than you should. You rely on the validation and support of others, but you have a secret distrust for people and distaste for their habits and weaknesses that make you keep your distance from them. This makes you very difficult to be with romantically. Still, a level-headed peacemaker can keep you balanced. Despite your fierce temper and general hot-bloodedness, you have a soft spot for animals and a surprising passion for the arts. Sometimes you would almost rather live by your wits in the wilderness somewhere, if you could bring your books and your sketchbook. You also have a strange, undeniable sexiness to you. You may go insane.
  7. I can still use it if the price is right. I don't need much of an intercooler for a Turbo I
  8. - almost forgot about that. valve springs again right? make sure you remind me again friday
  9. not yet needs to be overhauled and fuel injected
  10. what did you do with the stock one? I could make use of it if the price is right.
  11. I need a bare 3.8L series II gm front wheel drive block. I need to do some fitmen type stuff to fab up motor and transmisson mounts its much easier to work with just a bare block becuase its a lot of in and out. thanks in advance
  12. yes it will run very poorly if the exhuast doesn't go past the 02's if the cats are right up on the manifolds you may want to get an offroad y pipe and then put the cutout in
  13. put it after the 02's everything else will be fine
  14. my shadow has the good new process 5 speed with an LSD in it. I could care less if it breaks the clutch has a lifetime warranty and I can buy trannies for 50 bucks all day. beleive me when I get done with the 42re in my truck it will never break again all new raybestos clutches and steels kevlar bands and mopar performance servos with a transgo shift kit I'm lucky enough to a know a guy with access to all the special tools it takes to take the tranny apart. FYI if your hopping up a chrysler of anykind build up the transmision first or it will eat itself
  15. there I said nice things about you now loan me a bare shortblock so I can make my motor mounts
  16. turn the key to the on posistion and lay under the truck if you don't hear a whiney hummy noise the fuel pump is not working
  17. its the not the refrigerants that are in compatible its the oils. are you following me you will notice nothing righ taway but over time it starts to eat up your rubber hoses cuases all kinds of nasty problems. 134a also works at higher pressures and has smaller molecules than r12 this mean when you put 134a in a 12 system it tends to leak off over time. I recomend replacing all the rubber lines and physically draining the oil from the compressor if you decide to do this at the ver least they make a conversion oil that is compatible with 134a and 12 mixing refrigerants that work at different pressures is stupid. yes I understand that the 12 22 stuff can go high pressure but that is in home AC and freezers. this is kinda rambly but your getting the point if your going to retrofit do it right if you want to use 12 just makes sure it doesn't leak cuase its expensive even at 6 bucks a pound it costs more than 134a.
  18. low reverse band is smoked i'm going to pull the transmission this weekend I think. if you owe me a favor stop by around noon on saturday smile.gif . I get get it unbolted ok but this tranny looks like it might weigh 300 pounds or so.
  19. just an FYI don't go by the color on the top different companies use different colors for different things there will always be a manufacturer number printed or stamped on the side use it to determine exactly what you have
