I'd go all through that car and make sure the frame isn't rusted through below the shock towers the steel behind the front doors is solid and the rear floor isn't gone then decide if you want to do anything else to it......
I also have a rust free hatch that will fit on there if there isn't much cancer in the rest of the car
chrysler scan tool with the miller 8333 tranmission test adapter?
I'm 75% sure I have an electrical issue since the trans shifts fine when its not in limp mode
if you don't have access to the tool and can point me in the direction of a tranny shop that can do the diagnostic so I can hang parts thats fine too
thanks
wrong starter
depending on what year the bell was made for I show one listing to 5.0 5spd mustang and the a totaly different part number for an earlier car like a mustang II that has a c4 with a 302
if you get a me a little more info on the trans and flexplate combo I can get you a part number
ok I found out you can use the supercoupe hydraulic bearing if you drill and tap the front bearing retainer to hold it in does anybody have a spare retainer I can take some measurements from so I don't drill all the way through it
I did some more research at work today and the same hydraulic bearing that fits 4cyl rangers also fits super coupes and 5.0 f150's what holds the assembly in place in the trans? or does it just float?
