  1. I will surrender the infamous Likes Fist license plate if you wish.
  2. I didn't get many options, because I could buy the parts cheaper and install them for even less. The options I got were the foglamps, spoiler, and floor mats. All in all...the car totaled up to about $17,500.
  3. Yeah, I suppose it kind of does. graemlins/wtf.gif Honestly, this car wasn't my first choice. I would've rather gone with a 05 Mustang GT or a 05 WRX. However, the Celica was coming down with multiple mechanical issues, all at the same time. So instead of throwing a couple grand towards repairs and with my lease coming up in May, I decided to just cut my loses and get the tC. The Celica was fun, I enjoyed modding it and what not. I don't regret getting the paint job and stuff, but I wouldn't ever do it again. I'd like to think that I got the "Ricer" stuff out of my system. graemlins/thumb.gif I'm happy with the purchase, and that's all that matters now.
  4. Actually it was gone about a month ago. Traded it in for a 2005 Scion tC. Here area couple of pics my buddy snapped at an Ohio Scion meet at Quaker Steak & Lube over the weekend. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v224/buckeye23/049.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v224/buckeye23/047.jpg Didn't want to keep the LKS FST plate anymore, but oh well... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v224/buckeye23/043.jpg Finally moved onto the world of manual trannies. As for modding this thing...added TRD springs to it. That's about it so far. I took my system out of the Celica before I traded it in, so that'll go in this. Other than that, I may add the OEM lip kit which is extremely subtle. TRD exhaust, maybe a CAI, some new wheels. That really should cover it in terms of modifications. There are already several turbo kits available and a factory warrantied S/C is due out this fall. We'll see if the money is there next year for a possible move to F/I.
  5. Like it's already been stated. It's easy for people who never had a problem to begin with to just say stop eating. If it were that easy, dieting would have a 100% success rate.
  6. Since I provided you with information, can you provide me with info on the dietician(s) you're working with? Perhaps even what diet plan you're using? Thanks man.
  7. It's cool. Your statement, to me, seemed to come off as a blanket statement about the surgery itself. No harm no foul.
  8. That surgery, by no means, is a walk in the park. You have to consider the health of the people involved. Most of these people have multiple health issues going into the surgery which makes it THAT more dangerous. And for you to trivialize the prodecure obsurd and ignorant. My dad had that surgery, it has saved his life. High blood pressure, high colesterol, a heart murmur, Type 2 Diabetes, 2 blown knees, bad hips, a bad back and difficulty breathing when he sleeps. I guarantee that some people are/were more worse-off than he was. ALL of those conditions are gone. GONE. He's lost more than 100 lbs since he had the surgery in April. I consider this surgery a blessing for my family as my father has a better chance of living a longer, more healthy life. You used to weigh nearly 200 lbs and you were able to do it, congradulations on that (seriously), but for some people it's just not that simple. Buckeye is spot on with his post. And iwishiwascool's statement that it can be traced back to the parents is something I completely agree with, because I AM in that situation. My parent's never pushed a healthier diet growing up, and my sister and I are paying for it now (my younger brother was blessed with a high metabolism). Is that the sole reason I'm in the condition I'm in? No, I take most of the responsibility for eating what I eat. But the way I grew up definitely played a role in what condition I'm in today.
  9. I'm not pissed off. I could careless. I gave up the fight long ago.
  10. I think that has to be the funniest picture I've seen in a long long time.
  11. Same here. I always tip. One thing I don't get...why the hell do people working at Starbucks, Charlie's Steakery, Quizznos, etc... have tip jars set up? You don't get a tip from, all you did was make my sandwich or coffee. If you delievered my Venti Cafe Mocha, then maybe, you get a tip.
  12. I'm a Republican and moderately religious. I don't support limiting the rights of Muslims. As a Christian, I feel there are important things to worry about than limiting the rights of Muslims. I'm more worried about the ACLU changing its policy from protecting the individual rights of citizens to fighting against Christianity in the public sector. They've already had enough influence on some people restrict teaching the Declaration of Independence in schools! They're trying to re-write our history. They claim "Separation of Church and state" which is funny, because the Constition does not say that ANY WHERE. Sooo...this country was founded on idea to freely worship whomever or whatever you please without fear of persecution. So limiting anyone's rights to practice their religion, Islam or otherwise is wrong and goes against the founding principles of this country. Sorry, a little off topic there....
  13. I know people like to make comments. Thought I'd just nip it in the bud. That's probably a good idea. Keep the ol' record clean.
  14. I'm wondering if the cop is fucking with me. I think I'm just going to pay the $85 and just forget about it. I'm going to either trade the car in or sell it in the spring anyway.
  15. Hehe...you haven't seen pictures of my car. www.cardomain.com/id/buckeye23 I can't exactly "blend" in with everyone else. If you guys feel the need to make comments on my car, start a thread in the kitchen. Save this for the ticket replies. graemlins/thumb.gif
  16. My tint is illegal. Test came back at 34. I'm not complaining or anything like that, I knew I was too dark and all that. However, the cop wrote me the ticket, then told me I could do a couple things. The obvious being pay the $85. The cop also told me I could get the tint fixed to the legal 50% and go to court with pictures to prove it's fixed or do the same thing, with the tint removed completely. Now the interesting thing here is that the cop told me he wasn't going to show up to court. What do you guys think? Go to court?
  17. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1937594 I think deep down, everyone knew that he did. To claim that he "didn't know" is a lame excuse. So that's Giambi, Caminitti (sp, RIP), Bonds, Marion Jones...
