  1. Not sure if it is the same guy, but there was a guy in a blue Evo that cut me off over by Easton. All I could make out was it was a bald white guy. Looked like he had done some work to it but mainly new exhaust and he was doing everything he could to rev up the engine to hear the exhaust. Also looked like he could use a tune, becuase seemed to be dumping a lot of fuel at times.
  2. Which engine the 2.4L or 3.0L V6? I have a Dodge Stratus Coupe with the 2.4L (basically the same car with a different body) and they are great cars.
  3. I was down in Smoky's this weekend, so I was driving I-71 & I-75 pretty much the whole way. On the way down on Friday between 9:30-4:30, I saw 3 Ohio Troopers outside right outside Columbus, watching traffic coming in, nothing else in Ohio. In KY, I saw a couple pointed the other direction right outside of Cinny. TN, non until I got into town and then it was the normal ones. On Monday driving back, none in TN or KY. And didn't see any in Ohio until I got to the 36/37 exit in Delaware.
  4. I agree that the speed limit should be raised. I mean almost all the other states around us already are 70 mph on the highways. The only catch is, like someone else mentioned, they will have to work harder to keep the roads repaired. Which I don't see happening with all the budget cuts. I know they already talked about raising the speed limit for truckers as well up to 65 mph. They also need to consider the towns that the highways run through. Most, like Columbus, reduce the speed limit as you drive through town. Are the towns going to increase there speed limit by 5 mph? Also with all the budget cuts the state is making, is it wise to have to speed all the extra money to change all the signs across the state?
  5. I am sure after a while you will get use to the rumble from the exhaust. Now once you start climbing hills in KY, I am sure it will get even louder, but I like I said I am sure you will ge use to it.
  6. I am pretty sure the one I was looking at came in that caliber too. Check the online ad to be for sure. But I am sure they will have the best new price.
  7. That should be a strong engine to last for ever. Weak point will of course be the transmission, but if you take care of it should last.
  8. Man you have no luck with that Jeep. The problem is you have a vehicle that people want and there are always people looking for parts for them. I would start parking that thing in the front parking lot with the cameras on it. If management gives you crap, tell them you will once they install cameras in the back because twice you have had items stolen from your car. Said thing is your doors and tire I am sure are quickly sold on Craigslist. Wrangler stuff sells pretty quickly there.
  9. The only way I have been effected was both the wife and I are not getting pay raises this year. Pretty much our bills have stayed the same. Some of the bigger projects for the house may have to wait a little longer until we have the money saved to pay it. We have 3 vehicles, one was paid with cash, another will be paid off in 2 months and the last one will be paid off by the end of this year when we start doubling up payments.
  10. Check Vance's or Buckeye Outdoors. I know I saw in the last ad they had a Savage Arm's bolt action rifle with a basic scope for $350. I can't remember what all calibers they carried it in, but I know one of them was 223. I was thinking of picking one up myself.
  11. Mission - Maintenance and upgrades to Hubble. Will be the last work done on Hubble. Danger - they are about 100 miles higher than the space station which is the distance the shuttle normally goes. Also there is a lot of space junk floating around where they are. Any of it could cause damage to the shuttle where they possibly may not be able to fly it back home and the emergency shuttle will be launched to rescue them.
  12. Wow, that had to add quite a few pounds to that truck to cover the whole thing. I know a lot of off roading guys use the cheap Wal-Mart stuff or the Dupicolor spray can stuff. I plan on using some of the Dupicolor stuff on my WJ this summer.
  13. http://www.woot.com
  14. I signed up for this when it was originally posted. It is not a true 1-yr membership. Since then I keep getting paperwork to upgrade to the full benefits 1-yr membership for like $25. So far I have got the stickers, and a request for my $25. No membership card, no magazines.
  15. wow that stuff is so rare, where did you find that??? I have heard crazy things happen to you when you drink it. Like chasing a green dragon or something liek that. You know it is illegal in most place right. LOL
  16. Very nice. You can really reach out and fuck someone up with that thing.
  17. LOL I did this the first year they had the walk. I was working on a locally made zombie movie, so the special effects guys did up a bunch of people, including ourselves, and headed out. I always said it would be cool to have a bunch of "zombie hunters" attack them. LOL
  18. Sweet. My parents always had a scanner while growing up as a kid and I don't think we ever turned it off when we were home. We heard about a lot more than the news ever reported. Sometimes those conversations can be quite funny. You should be able to find the call codes somewhere on line.
  19. Man if I didn't buy the WJ a few months back, I might have picked this up as well. Of course all these cheap cars that I like for sale when I have no money
  20. nice looking fox. Wish I had the money to take that off your hands.
  21. I like a lot. I have to see about picking me up an AR-15. I have wanted one for too long.
