You are covered from a Mortgage standpoint (they ask no questions if they get their money anyway). You need different insurance, and if you are leaving Ohio you have to have a local property manager.

Need a custom home built? Want high quality? Look elsewhere. They skimp on everything, sub-floor will be warped, repeat nail pops, squeaky floors, insulation, windows, the whole nine. You would do yourself a favor by looking at ANYone else.

Typically, Churches try to feed the hungry. One way they do that is by going to larger grocery stores and bakeries and arranging to get day old or almost past, bread. Then they give it to those that are hungry.

Every time you put gas in your car, you expose the tank to moisture. The moisture forms a small puddle on the bottom of the tank (oil floats on water). If your pickup gets some of the moisture, your fuel line can freeze. Water expands as it freezes so you don't need much to plug the line.

The transfer switch is a good idea, from the "not Killing an AEP employee" standpoint. Plus, feeding electricity onto the grid without AEP's approval can cause hefty fines (Like $50,000). I realize you would never, not forget to close the breaker, but someone else might be home when the power is out. -

Small towns on the Big Island are just about the same cost of living as Columbus. I can buy a 2 acre lot in a smallish town outside Hilo for around $25,000. Cars are more expensive there, but stuff like food that is grown there, is less.

I think perhaps a list of your qualifications might help narrow it down. "Commercial remodels" doesn't really tell me what your expertise is. I am happy to try to help out if I know what you are capable of, and have experience with.
