  1. I dunno, my parents bought one back in the 80's, and even though they tell me not to waste my time buying one, I personally love it. Their's is in St. Thomas, virgin islands, but for $100 you can transfer it ANYWHERE for the same amount of time. I used it on my senior spring break with friends in cancun, a cruise with the woman, a vegas vacation with friends and my sister is going to Alca Poco?? or whatever next month using it, good shit.
  2. Word, who the fuck in their right mind would quote $2500 on that, especially being "friends" with the dude. Maybe you said that because you wanted some "cash back" from the insurance? Make a quick buck? But seriously what's a fender, $200-$400 NEW? Paint is what another $2-300, I'd say a grand MAX. The woman's passenger fender got dented in and pinched up last fall and I had it pulled, straightened, bondo'd and painted good as new for $225 from a local bodyshop and "friend". I got $850ish from insurance, now that's a hookup.
  3. I searched google and came up with this, but I can't get it to go both ways. http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/tech.php?bulletin=s10 Lets say I follow the first formula... (7+1)/2 + (40 * .03937), I get ~5.57, which means a 40mm offset on a 7" wide wheel is roughly a 5.5" backspace, is that right? How do I measure/find out how much backspace I should try and get with my new set of wheels?
  4. They offer ONE streetable tire, lol. Thanks though man. I've semi decided to go with 16x8's and 245/50's and then have some 15x10's for racing.
  5. ^^^I'll one up him, I'll pick up and "dispose" of all the parts no charge to you. :grin2:
  6. weird, my apt has been quiet as a rock and we live on the top floor, hmm
  7. +1, especially if there is a fat ugly one, have her jump on him, ahahaha
  8. well since you know about computers, you want to try and fix mine first? Its not really that old or outdated, I just fucking suck with computers and am fed up with it. PM me if interested. Thanks guys, I'll probably pick up the one he recommended this weekend if I can't fix mine.
  9. Thanks, but its still compaq and vista, so is it ok? Also, is there anyway to upload XP onto this or will all my old programs load onto this just fine? Does anyone want to delete all the bullshit they load onto it from the store and get it cleanly running for me, I'll buy dinner/beer/$20 or something. I'd do it, but I think that's how I fucked up my current computer.
  10. Thanks for the tip, but any you would recommend? Also, would this computer be OK if I loaded my XP on it?
  11. Ok, our computer took a shit, and we both have school assignments, etc, other shit that we NEED a computer. It was a notebook, but we're considering a desktop now...I found this for $400, seems like a damn good deal to me. Any insight is appreciated. Basically we have music, pictures and video's on the computer, would like to be able to edit that. Also need like Word and Excel, the internet and that's about it. I think this will be fine, but please show me anything under $500 that I should look at as well. We both get paid tomorrow and I'll probably end up buying one tomorrow. Thanks for the quick help http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=999967200050002&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat103700050050&id=pcmprd67200050002 Matt

    Car needed

find out how much the insurance buy back is for me if you don't mind, I' might pick it up. good luck finding a new car so we can run again this summer.
  15. how's the battery life? anything wrong with it? come with charger, cd's and whatnot?
  16. nice, still an auto or what? what mods if any?
  17. I'm choosing my wheel/tires setup and can't decide between 15's or 16's. I'm going with 15's for the rear, drag setup, probably a 275/50/15, but for my street setup I'd like something wide and sticky, more for handling. I'm probably either going to get a set of 15x8 or 16x8's, but the 15's are lighter/cheaper and I think they'll look better, but I'm having a hard time finding anything wider than a 225 series in a 15" size. Any help is appreciated, I'm looking for something along the lines of Falken Azenis or S0-3's, etc, stiff sidewalls, sticky compound and semi-low profile, like a 40-50 sidewall. Thanks Matt
  18. Come up to Dublin, specifically my area, I'm snowed in my my POS fwd monster!!! Last night even while driving, my car was bottoming out on the snow, just two ruts to drive in, sucked hardcore!

    Free Day Off

So it took me 20minutes of shoveling, and rocking my car back/forth to get out of my PARKING SPACE, to only get about 40feet down my apt complex parking lot and get stuck, tried for another 30min and said fuck it, wrote a note w/ my number and left it. I called AAA and the lady said, sorry, we can't help you since your lot isn't plowed in the past 24hrs, i was like WHAT THE FUCK DO I PAY FOR THEN, and she hung up. Bitches... The wife had to work today, so I had to get up at 5am to help her get MY car out for 30minutes, luckily she made it to work in Hilliard.
  21. I'll bring the ropes, we've got plenty of ski ropes with nice handles! No sleds or tubes though so someone bring those! 9pm at Cooper right?
  22. I was suprised, 3rd time it's happened in 25 years, and honestly, it doesn't look THAT bad out, I've been through MUCH worse.
