  1. I agree, it is too heavily modded, for godsakes, its a FUCKING internet forum, they don't need to protect their 4 year olds from getting their cookies taken at snack time.
  2. These two look nice as well, a tad cheaper too. http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/compare.do?poids=161104,160282&prevPage=categorylist.do&catOid=-12869&nstr=20012866%2020012867%2020012869%20312867003&link=ref
  3. We're looking for a new tv, and of course want a flat panel to hang on the wall. But I know NOTHING about tv's and have no clue the difference between LCD and Plasma, or what to look for. Basically I just found the largest flat panels I could for around $1k and that's these two. Please let me know and pros/cons and what to look for. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7730271&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat95100050006&id=1140392418515 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7683358&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat95100050005&id=1134703394716 Thanks guys, looking to buy this week/weekend. Also, what will I need to make this digital cable ready, since it appears neither of them are. And would I be able to use either one of those as a computer monitor occasionally?
  4. what's the bolt pattern? I've got a set of 18's I'd sell. Or check a junkyard for the stock wheel.
  5. its located off 71 and 5th ave, 614-595-5536, Matt. I'm free tomorrow.
  6. Maybe because people are more inclined to use the ebrake on a manual car rather than an auto, but i digress, the relation is not quick.
  7. Yup, by pistions do you mean struts? I've got all that still on the car, make an offer?
  8. Yes, brand new adjustable one, it was like 50 or 60 new, how's $35? PM me if you want it.
  9. ? How exactly is that FTW? I don't want to die, or at least make it any easier for me to die in an accident, PVC won't do shit.
  10. I want it legal to 10's, so I guess 10.00. The dash placement is already there, as is the seat placement, but I don't have a seat bolted in the car as I haven't bought them yet. I guess since the cage depends on so many other things, I really just need my frame welded and then I will take care of the cage later because it all will come apart later. I'm building it twice, once to make sure everything works where it is, and so I can modify it, and then tear it apart, make necessary changes, make it pretty (sandblast/powdercoat) and put it back together. The cage isn't a necessity, it won't go 10's this year, probably next year, and it'll be street legal as it sits now. So I will get it running/driving, figure out my seating position, finish the dash, etc, and then have you come over and mock up a cage. That sound good? I REALLY need the frame welded now, its hard to describe, but it shouldn't be difficult at all. I've already cleaned up all the ends where stuff meets, etc. If you could come check it out to get a feel for it that'd be great. The frame fits in my pick-up bed so it is easily moved, just need another guy to help me pick it up.
  11. No, its a roadster frame, FFR, no body on the frame etc. are you capable of helping me?
  12. They don't make a cage. And I have the front suspension done/rolling, but as you see in my other post I need the passenger side rear LCA mount re-made, it got cut off, and after that my car will be a roller. Can you bend, notch and weld if I provide the materials? Would I bring it to your house or did you want to work in my garage? Its huge, heated and would be fine.
  13. When can you come by and take a look at everything? My cell is 614-595-5536, either PM me or give me a call. thanks Matt
  14. I need my frame welded as well as my roll cage welded. I need someone with plenty of expierence and certs if possible. The frame consists of plate steel A-36, 1020 DOM round tubing, and cold rolled square tubing. The roll cage consists of 1-5/8'' x .134-wall mild steel tubing. My frame just needs welded, but the cage needs trimmed and notched to fit together perfectly. I already checked with Tinman, but he's backed up a few months at least. Thanks
  15. Not going to have functional doors, planning on a spec car setup. It will be a full cage, I've read most people get in through the roof with this type of cage. We'll see. Right now I need to find someone that can weld.
  16. If not, Rob do you recommend Jeg's Roll cage kits, they've got the 12pt ones for $270, and I can pick it up today. Care to do the install? I'm sure a few things might need modified, but this would be fairly easy, its just a bare frame now that this would need welded on.
  17. Rob, can you do my cage for me? With or without a body, I don't care, haven't decided yet anyways. Any idea on the cost? I'd need this done by March or April hopefully.
  18. a nice camaro, even like an 02 6spd w/ low miles should be under your price range, hell maybe even an SS. Probably won't get much worse gas mileage than an EVO/STI so long as you stay out of the go pedal on both. If you're choosing between an Sti/EVO for a daily, I'd get the sti, I think its more forgiving i guess. What about a regular wrx? you can get a new one for that much or less and its got the 2.5l now, better tq/low end, and it'd be NEW.
  19. Pretty sure it was the new Landrover.
  20. What's considered a full cage? 8pt?
  21. sweet, i'll drop by jegs, didn't know they sold them. Is there any other sanctioning body or rules that I should try and follow?
