    Saturday

I'll be out as will my buddy with his new car, see ya there. Hey Thorne, what's the new plates say???? Slow Poke??? haha just playing. Spln Sux....wanna run? I've been calling you out forever and then some. Just for fun.
  3. 3300-3400lbs isn't heavy to you for a sports car? I mean its not horrible but ain't good either. I'd like to be mid 13's NA and then 12's with spray. Definitely seems attainable with the lt1. If anyone knows of any 95-97 z28s forsale around 5grand, lemme know, ready to buy in a heartbeat. Thanks guys, also what are some basic upgrades you recommend? Obviously i/h/e but what kinds, where from, etc etc. later
  4. Damn, I can't believe they are that quick being so heavy. Do both motors respond to spray about the same? What high mileage concerns should I look out for? thanks
  5. Looking at getting a 4th gen z28. Any year better than the other? Also, how strong is the auto tranny in these cars? I would like a manual, but autos seem more abundant. What should I worry about with high miles? I'm only looking to spend $5k I find them with like 125k or so, is this really bad or what? Did they change anything major in this car over the years? Power outputs the same? I'll think of other things I forgot later, but that should get me thinking. Thanks Matt
  6. Wow, I must have dsylexia or something, but first thing I saw when I read this post was...."130 AROUND a Crown Victoria, like you passed a cop" Then I re-read it.... But then I was figured out what it actually said, and was like WTF? A crown vic can do 130? Also, I thought cops had to puss out at like 90-100? Oh, personal best for me is about 145-148 in my old farfunugen..aka volkswagon. My gtp wont do much over 115, stupid pontiacs.

  9. Are you trying to mock a commercial perhaps? I know that saying, but can't remember for what it goes with. Either way glad you got some stuff straighted out, get on with your bad self! ok that last part was a bit gay....

    WTB - handgun

How old do you have to be for a handgun? I have no interest in shooting at a range or anything like that, but I'd like to take a class or two to learn how to fire a gun, and I'd like one in the house for personal security for my wife and daughter.
  11. Alright, cool some good info. I went to Sears last nite and was asking the guy some questions and almost everytime he looked at me like WTF? I just flat out told him I'd never bought tools before and didn't know what to look at when buying. Few things that I didn't see answers too....do they or do they not make an air ratchet that can do a couple hundred lbs of tq? If not thats cool, just wondering. I don't plan on fixing cars a lot, just my own, and possibly helping friends every other blue moon. It'd just be nice to have to break loose hard bolts, or for changing tires, etc. I totally agree on tools being fucking expensive now that i've seen them. Shit $50 for a set of 10 deepwell impact sockets? $30 for a medium length breaker bar? I did get my own hand rachet replaced for free last nite at sears, no questions asked it was nice. Well thanks guys, I'm going shopping. Lastly a buddy of mine told me about Harbor freight, he said definitely dont buy everything there but that you could find some things cheap that are worth it, what's the general consensus on that place? And where are the located? later
  12. I've got an air compressor so now all I need is an impact gun/sockets to work on my car. I've got a few questions.... Do they make powerful impact rachets? Most I've seen is like 75ft/lbs. I like these because they make getting into tight areas easier. If not I'll just get a gun. Next, what should I look for when buying an impact gun? What kinda numbers and all that ish. Don't need top of the line, just basic car stuff uses but a warranty is nice. Lastly, Can I use impact sockets as normal sockets on my rachet? Like if I buy normal and deepwell impact sockets, could I use the deepwell impacts with my hand wrench? Just wondering since I don't have a normal set of deepwells and if so I could just save me the cash there. I have normal short sockets though. Oh yeah, how strong is a 3/8ths drive? Like how much force can it take? Should I buy a 3/8 or 1/2 drive impact gun? Just wondering since all my other sockets are 3/8ths. Thanks Matt
  13. Actually its sold, but the games are still available. bump.
  14. Hmm, I saw the Taskforce 185 piece kit on at lowes for $66! You say it has a lifetime warranty as well? Well shit, I may just go buy that one instead. Thanks for the tip.
  15. Yeah, I dunno if I'll need to go that far but I'm sure i'll always think of something I need next. My buddy is taking autotech and has like 5-6k of tools already, its crazy. BTW, does anyone have a "craftsman club#" for a discount? Also, do they make breaker bars as rachets? Thanks
  16. Sweet, just what I needed to hear. I'm gonna go pick it up tomorrow. Also, where'd you get your breaker bar and do they make breaker bars that are like ratchets? It would've really helped in the cramped spaces on the supra. Oh and what about swivel attachments? I searched sears.com for them and didn't come up with any. BTW call me back fool, i left you a message last nite.
  17. Well I don't really have many tools, just your basic pliers, screwdrivers, and a cheap shitty like 10 pc socket set that the rachet is fucked up. So lately I've been borrowing my dads and grandpa's and even people on this forum to use, while they have no problem with it, I hate running around and i know i need my own tools. Now I've heard craftsmen tools since forever and then some, plus a lifetime warranty is nice. I need tools to do stuff around the house, work on my cars/help friends, etc etc. Will this do me good? I like that it has both normal and deep sockets, and for $100 it seems cheap, I hear people spending hundreds if not thousands on tools. I do plan on getting an air compressor/impact sockets later on, but is this a good deal on this kit and would you recommend anything else? I know I need to get a breaker bar since I had to borrow Anthony's last weekend. Here's the link, good deal? http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=TOOL&pid=00935155000&cat=Tool+Sets Matt
  18. Yes, I'll sell separetly, $10 for GTA, $5 for each of the others. Give me a call if your interested.
  19. We've got a couple I think, lemme check with the wife and i'll see if we can get rid of one.
  20. bump it up, I have an offer of $400. I'm giving it until this weekend or its sold. Matt
  21. how much for the saab, miles? color inside and out?
  22. No it doesn't on the unit itself, but I'll include what we use, its like a little convertor box, $20 at radioshack, but it lets me hook up the DVD player/VCR, so it like adds the RCA jacks. Make me an offer!
