oh, its a 2001 Focus ZX3, 2.0L Zetec. He is building the motor beforehand. We just wanted to know what were the specs on this specific turbo?

I don't know what kind of car the turbo is off of. Sorry. I thought the numbers would mean something by themselves???

Ok, I've got a buddy that is looking to put together a custom kit and someone local to him is selling a turbo. He says its a T3 56 trim. What exactly does that mean? And what is it capable of? Would it be a good turbo for early spool up and mid 200's hp wise? He lives in NY and doesn't have internet so he asked me to research it. I can't find much so I figured I'd post up. Also, what are things he should check for when looking at this turbo? Thanks Matt

Oh, ok, lol. I didn't know I figured it was just a tiny site. I'll be out tonight hopefully. My first mods are definitely a full exhaust and the airbox mod w/ K&N. Does anyone know if all the ECU's will swap with the same gen cars? Like could I use a 91 turbo ecu on my 88 turbo? or what years are different? The car won't even start and derek said that it wasn't getting power somewhere, and it pointed to the computer. So I'd like to find someone I could test theres, so its if that I know what to replace rather than going thru the entire car.

A modded TDI can and is fast. They are tq monsters, with a chip, exhaust, and bigger nozzles you can get around 160ish hp and over 300tq, those are @ the wheels. I've thought about getting a tdi bettle, mostly because you can find them so much cheaper than the golf/jetta tdi's. Good luck, Do it!

Yeah we've done both, off and during the season. It's definitely much easier on the pocket book off season and like you said, not bad at all. Where do you usually rent the boat from? We have been to Jamestown but usually go with GriderHill, and yeah we usually have one skiboat ('97 Malibu Sunsetter) and a couple waverunners. This year is definitely to late to plan, but next summer sometime I and some friends would be up for it. Beer and skiing are the best.

I need to replace the camshaft position sensor on my 88 supra as well as the headgasket. Having no expierence in doing anything like this before, should I tackle it myself or see if I can gather somebody to help for beer or the like? It's the turbo model if that makes a difference. Thanks Matt
