Lake Cumberland is the shit! I've gone for the last 10 years or so, almost every year getting a huge houseboat and its always a blast. We should get like 10-15 people from CR to go in on a houseboat, you can get like an 80ft one that sleeps 12 easy. I've got a ski boat.... Hmm, other than that I've been to Mexico a few times, Cancun, Manzanillo, and a few other fun trips, or snow skiing. But yeah, I'd choose Lake Cumberland over almost anything.

I'm getting into an old supra turbo, but it needs a few things. Anyone have any idea as to where to get a new computer for the thing? or could I get the one I have repaired? Would any computer out of an old supra turbo work? And for the peple that know about these cars or mod them, first mods you recommend? Obviously its a turbo car so free flow exhuast and more boost is easy, but I want to do it so it *could* last me awhile. I've read the headgaskets are extremely weak on these cars, is this true? How much boost can I run safely? And lastly, you guys have any tips on things to remove to save weight, I know I can take a torch and just start cutting if I wanted too, but maybe there are some hidden heavy things I could remove first. Those are all good idea's and hopefully you can get somebody to work with you. And I understand your wife not working and having a child. Shit we have a 3 month old and medical bills are killing us, literally, and there is no way we could afford for her NOT to work. But honestly, why have you been continuously modding your car and now doing an engine swap? I mean yeah cars are cool and its fun to mod, but you have to understand when there needs to be a line drawn, and where paying down your bills would be smarter than that new exhaust or trans. Again, not trying to be mean or go where its unnecesarry, I'm just pointing out where you could save money and possibly pay down your debts. Good luck and I hope the best for you and your family.

A buddy and I went up to Buffalo this weekend and into canada for a day. Gas prices in NY were around $3.69/regular and in Canada it was liters but was equivalent to $4.50/gallon for regular. We put $20 in the Matrix and it didn't even give us a 1/2 tank, the tanks only 12 gallons. Shit sucked. But got back to Columbus tonight and its under $3, definitely nice.

Well my buddy is buying a new car and was interested in the car, but he thinks he's seen your car out at the track/weekends and it would pour out smoke pretty good. He wants a fun car to run hard, but not one that's been drove hard and put away wet. Not saying you have, those wheels just set it apart from others.

Hmm, well its around $400/month for the wife and I, and two cars. 04 Matrix and 01 GTP. I've got 2 tickets, but not in 2 years so they are soon to fall off. She has one accident, and one ticket, both over 2 years old. Then the bitch goes out and gets TWO speeding tickets in 2 weeks, not just one fucking ticket, but two!!!! goddamintmuthafuckerhorseshitpaininmyass!!!! So yeah, her one ticket from a few years back will fall off in january but these two will hit. I'm 19, she's 21. I had to go to 3 gas stations before I actually got to one that still had gas. That was scary considering I was on Empty for a bit. Then @3.31/gal it cost almost $60 to fill up my GTP. That sucks considering I fill it up twice a week. Might be for sale shortly...

ZYUL8TR...the thing your not understanding is the fact that the car in question...DOES NOT RUN OR DRIVE and has minimal body damage. Therefore its not worth $5k, its not worth $2500, its' not worth hardly anything really. He's also looking at the new Saab 92x, they have about $7k in rebates which bring the car down to $16,800. Its a 24k car roughly, much cheaper w/ a good rebate then the Expedition.

His credit score is mid 7's and he makes 45k a year so its not a question of him qualifying or affording it. Also, there are very FEW cars that he can buy used that will hold the negative. That's why he's thinking a new SUV/truck, probably FORD. Two car loans are not a possibility because his current car is worth nothing to him, (doesn't run/drive) and is getting older by the day, why keep paying $300/month for a lawn ornament? Plus the fact that he would have to keep insurance on both which would be another cost. Bump,does anyone know of any other cars that could hold this kind of negative equity?
