I think they all got lost in the COFBA server. He about gave that car away. That really was a nasty clutch explosion.
Anybody that was there will always remember,
SPEC SUCKS
Thanks for all the kind words!
I almost put the travel limiters on last winter. I had done really well all year keeping the front end down. They will be on this winter.
I finaly got the car on a four wheel scale yesterday. Without my #250 in it it the car weighed 3731 so 3981 with me in it. It was also telling that each of the front wheels were over 1000#, each of the back over 800#.
So I basically need to take 400# out of the front end.
Those street tires you saw are shot. The tires in the pic are 325/50/15 hoosier drag radials. I have ran on them all year actually they are on there way out also
Went to Kil Kare for the ODRA race. Ran the 6.5 index but couldnt slow the car down enough. This was a 1.34 60' with the back wheels. The track photographer said he was sorry he didnt get it better. He said he hadnt seen the car before and "wasnt ready for that" He didnt get it at its peak It almost drug the bumper.

I prefer the dry kits. Its all about burning fuel. Injectors atomize fuel better that the plates or nozzles.
The bigest thing effecting the A/F ratio in the LS1 kits is the nozzle placement in relationship to the maf. Most like the nozzle spraying nearly at the maf. I always ran a tune that had increased the P/E when I was using a MAF.
I run A dry kit now but no MAF all the fuel is added with the P/E.
I recomend that you have a wideband on the car when you you first spray it. You will also want to log the car with HPT or EFI live. If you cant tune then have someone there that can. Watch the injector duty cycle so you can see if the fuel system is up to snuff. Fuel pump upgrade is always a good idea with these cars.
I always start out with a really small shot (50shot) with a new kit to check the kits function and the cars reaction to the nitrous.
The LS1 dry kits use the MAF to increase the fuel instead of bumping fuel pressure.
Thanks for the good time Lance!
Nice day baking at the track. I was rolling on the 17's trying alot of different things. That's why the et's were down.
Nice time for those that showed up!
