what's a more perminant fix without having to drill the hole bigger and retapping to the next size up? or is that the perminant fix?

there's a whole other set of problems. we were putting an aftermarket pan on and i think i stripped out the threads on the transmission. i could get the old bolt to tighten, but the new one would tighten so far then break loose. edit i feel like a complete idiot, i was an airplane mechanic for 5 years in the Marines and it wasn't my first bolt.

ah ha, thank you so much man. when we took the pan off, i swore it was sandwiched and that looked wrong.

Does the shift linkage bracket mount sandwiched between the drain pain and the tranny or on the outside of the drain pain?

if you don't use the oem wires and tap directly off the battery, make sure you in-line fuse it to keep from frying your camera

Yes, anytime an officer made a suggestion in my favor, the court usually followed it. If you go to court well dressed and be very respectful, you'll make a good impression and probably stay out of jail. When he asks what you have to say just tell him the truth and that you made a mistake and have learned from it.

I'd take 80e to 81n to 84e, get off in Newburgh, hop on 87n to Voorheesville. You can fly through PA, people get the fuck out of your way. If you have time, off of 87 there's a nice little college town in New Paltz. SUNY girls are easy.
